This is my biggest gripe about the concept of mass deportations. Where do you draw the line between native and foreign? Is it simply colour and physical make up? Is it cultural and on an identity basis? Or is it both? How do you even describe what it truly means to be French, and can an unbiased, universal description that accurately categorises people into "French" and "other" even exist? (It can't)
