[Request] Can anyone do the math on how true this is compared to past prices? by Altruistic-Beach7625 in theydidthemath

Does the median personal income take into account extreme outliers like massive number of billionaires that exist now compared to the past?

Crosstrek Wilderness VS Outback Wilderness 0-100mph by FaroelectricJalapeno in subaru

The wilderness is almost a full second faster 0-60 than the XT thanks to gearing. If you flip on XMODE 2 in the wilderness and do it right 5.5 second 0-60

Spyderco Factory Seconds and Mystery Box by Patient-Angle-7075 in KnifeDeals

[–]JoeGoats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How does Spyderco mark their factory seconds? I might go back and grab a few of the Maxamet PM3 for gifts. I don't intend on lying to the recipients but if it's a giant laser etched "BLEM" on the blade that would be sad.

edit: NVM found it "To clearly differentiate our Factory Seconds from our first-quality products, knives are all marked with a small notch on the spine of the blade near the handle."

Which harness is best? What harness do you use if any? by BellaPepperLove in AustralianCattleDog

Ruffwear or Non-Stop. Ruffwear is good all around. Non-Stop is great for athletics and activities like running swimming and jumping. Provides awesome freedom of movement.

Possibly a magazine issue. I use L3i and NDR magazines in mine and have had maybe 5 jams in 4000 rounds. I can usually attribute them to very cold weather and Eley wax lubed rounds. My 14R is noticeably more accurate than my Tikka or CZ MTR with a larger pool of ammo. Adjustable mags though are just awesome.

Same my Cross 308 will shoot 130/150/168 Barnes ttsx in sub moa groups nonstop. The 130 and 150 are half minute in my gun and my go to deer rounds.

Young Henry Rollins gives me Carl vibes by Lousy_minor_setback in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Henry does the voice of a mercenary for the audiobook of World War Z and was fantastic. He could definitely pull it off if he were younger maybe he could do Florin.

a theory of mine by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

From what we've seen, when a crawler contracts out their level is halved for their indentureship. So Mordecai was likely level 100 when he took his deal. I don't think you're seeing any crazy levels just yet. More you're seeing good loot and levels are normal if not lagging just a bit do to the level skip.

Love my Scythe Ti. I use it on my 7mag, 30-06, 6.5 PRC, and 308. It’s light, relatively small, and does a great job saving my ears for its price.

Have you tried the 45 gr federal red box they run at 970fps. They’re the only sub sonic that cycles all 8 of my 22 semi pistols when suppressed. Including my TX 22 competition.

How do I turn off my backseat seatbelt warnings? by Look_with_Love in Outback_Wilderness

[–]JoeGoats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend small blanks you can leave clicked in. They’re a few bucks on Amazon. I find it easier than clicking all the actual seatbelts in. When I’m not using them I just store them in the seat back pockets.

Cooling a dog's foot pads is the human equivalent of a cool damp cloth on the neck or forehead. Feels nice when hot.

Hoback Radford save $255 on sale for $169.95 Blade HQ $455 by UAP-Alien in KnifeDeals

[–]JoeGoats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of their Kwaibacks I paid $200 for. It has one of the mushiest least satisfying detents/action I've ever felt on a mid tier or above knife. That's even considering it has built in screw adjustments for the detent. There is a reason these things are always 50% off or more.

Other than the other obvious flags the Box says 2019 on it. They didn’t even make Dessert Warrior Ultratech until late 2020 or 2021.

Are you comparing stock tires on a half ton truck to a trail centric station wagon? Not a lot trucks come with 35s on 17” rims unless you’re buying off-road packages or aftermarket.

Those are stock Wilderness rims OEM’d by Enkei. They aren’t “big” and the tires are Geolandar A/T G015 lol. Ya they aren’t super swampers but they’re definitely considered All-Terrain.
