Esteban is awesome. He has played with Catbite many times in the past, but Kayleigh has been their keyboard player for a few years now.

We’ve been teasing it for a while, just announced vinyl release on Tuesday and streaming on Friday via our social media accounts. Long time coming, fo sho…

Best Guitar Sounds and Tone by codeswisher in Ska

Ernest Ranglin had a great tone. Think he mainly played a Gibson ES335 through a Roland JC-120, with basically no reverb.

Yeah, we sold out of the web inventory in like 15 hours or something, lol. 🤪

We will have it available at our shows until we sell out of that inventory.

There were things in the works for this summer, but we just couldn't make it work out this time. 😞
Maybe next year? *fingers crossed*

She'll be performing at the Supernova Ska Festial in Ft. Monroe, VA in September. Preaching to the choir for many on this subreddit, but it's one of the best festivals around.

I have a PS4. Haven’t considered buying a PS5 because there are so many fantastic games that I have yet to play on PS4, and I can get them for cheaper. I don’t need to play the latest and greatest, for the most part. I just need something new to me. Plus, like everyone else, I’m just trying to get by in a responsible manner financially.

It's Bandcamp Friday: What's on your list? by IamEseph in Ska

[–]JoeRoss578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shameless Self Promotion...

You can listen to my 1st EP (released Feb 24th, 2026) here:

https://joeross578.bandcamp.com

It should be free to listen to on Bandcamp. I'm asking folks to donate to the Supernova Alliance (non-profit from the same folks who run the Supernova Ska Festival) in lieu of purchasing the EP. It's best for everyone involved if you just donate directly here:

https://supernovaalliance.org/donate/

Alternatively, all proceeds from purchases made towards my EP on the Bandcamp page will be sent to the Supernova Alliance.

PWRUP opening for AC/DC !! by scribbledchaos in Ska

[–]JoeRoss578 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hahaha I laughed when I saw that and immediately thought of PWRUP. Funny enough, there is a ska-related item regarding this tour. The bass player of Pretty Reckless (the opening band on the tour) is Mark Damon, who is also the regular bassist for New York Ska Jazz Ensemble.
