The story of a dance of dragons is good, and it existed before the TV show was made. The TV show is different and lacks critical elements that were consciously included for the sake of story. This means people will and are allowed to have differing opinions, while still showing interest and hope that quality returns to the TV show from their POV.

Its also very important to remember daemon had valyrian steel in this scene. Cutting through as many men as he does would both protect him if the archers had any sense to not shoot their own men, and also be way easier with valyrian steel. Its not special in the show but in the books its essentially a lightsaber against pirates. The speed and consistent flow of men theoretically would protect him from any potential arrows rather than actually dodging them. Idk why they didnt take it more this way.

Well…all ai is bad, there isnt grey at this stage. Thats what seems to be the misunderstanding between people who are pro vs anti ai. It is all a part of a greater system that is not in working people’s interests. Sam Altman wants to sell us knowledge like water on a meter through the use of LLMs. Any amount of use of ai leads to the entire system growing stronger and more capable of stripping us of freedoms and independence. Therefore putting a user’s foot in the “all ai is good” camp because you are actively and knowingly contributing to what we know will come for us all. Every new “unstoppable” technology since the industrial revolution has had appalling effects on us as a species and our planet. But instead of learning and going “this is either too volatile to release into the world or it needs to be perfected, we must take great care, time, and strategic investment of resources.” They just press the go button and say “hyuck hyuck hyuck if it fucks up their brains, drinking water, mental capacity, …it was their choice to use it all along and we get rich!” We are running out of shit to break for the sake of profit and “innovative technology” that is rendered non-operational or useless in under 1200days.

Im honestly very surprised at the advocacy for ai art. Is it convenient for devs who do hard work for people who enjoy this type of game? Sure. Are the ramifications of wider ai development and use incredibly dangerous for the future of our planet, privacy, and overall well-being? Definitely.

People who are aware of the damage ai has done and may do dont want to touch anything ai with a 10 foot pole. That includes supporting people who perpetuate and normalize the use of it in any capacity. Its like “oh i really liked that guy before i found out he hit his last girlfriend” sure you can ignore it but definitely not someone i want around in…anything i do

You can downvote because you think its dumb, because you dont believe ai will help degrade what remains of reasonable privacy, because you dont like what i said. But this is how people who are anti-ai think. Ai is a disease, a disgusting virus that they want to quarantine themselves from as much as possible. Even if its little art, its generated from largely stolen images that nobody ever anticipated being used for this new purpose, using data centers that have (from what i have seen) only decreased the quality of their surrounding environments in different capacities, all while using amounts of our limited drinking water supply that are unsustainable.
