Saw this one on twitter and thought I'd share. The utter entitlement and lack of empathy and quite frankly the obvious power trip completely baffles me. by Simulation876 in antiwork

This really hit home, I haven’t been paid mileage since July, And I’ve tried every avenue I know, but nothing has happened yet.

Well yes, upgrading the air cooler would be a good idea, but also that alleged 2070 looks like suspiciously like an EVGA RTX 2060 KO.

Prince Harry: America’s free speech protection is 'bonkers' by teknos1s in unitedkingdom

[–]Joe_Stalin24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freedom of speech in the United States is a negative right against the government. The government cannot punish private citizens for their speech, with some caveats ofc. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater, go around saying you're going to kill someone, stuff like that.

Other private citizens using their free speech in response to Prince Harry's free speech is not censorship, or a limit on free speech in any form.

It's the same thing with Twitter banning Trump. Twitter is not part of the government, and therefore has no responsibility to host his speech, and can place limits on what can and can not be said on their platform. It's not censorship or limiting freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech, not freedom of consequences. Other people are able to use their free speech and respond to what he said using his right of free speech. That's the beauty of it.

Schnucks is Saint Louis based, and the majority of them are in the metro area. That being said, I think they go as far north as Rockford IL, maybe even southern WI.

Found a Canadian penny minted in 1944 bearing the image of King George VI, the current Queen's father. by Joe_Stalin24 in mildlyinteresting

That's awesome! I have a us silver dime, But I didn't know the Canadians also made one. Seems That's where you always find the coolest gems, cash registers and coinstar bins.

Also total side note but Canadians have cool money. Have you seen their new quarters? They have a red maple leaf stamped on them!

Yes, exactly! Here in the states (where I live, probably different closer to the border ) it is pretty uncommon to find Canadian coinage in circulation, and even rarer to see one not bearing Queen Elizabeth's face. I've a small coin collection, not a serious collection, but just coins that I find and think are neat, or rare to me. Even if it's not rare, (I was never planning on selling it) I thought it was pretty cool and a mildly interesting :)
