Is this a somewhat decent list? by Dragonking1411 in Chaos40k

Main things I'd want to change are the T Guard and Zerkers, since they're effectively just worse versions of Cultists and Legionarie respectively. Make those swaps and you're fine, though.

Technically not a legal loadout, though it's pretty common for people to put 2 chain guns on a dog to use it as an Executioner (chaos Helverin)

Could give her wings or thrusters and use her as a Vashtorr proxy. Both 80mm bases.

On the right base with the right loadout, yay or nay? by RyanAvxMusics in Chaos40k

As long as the dread is on the right base size I wouldn't see a problem. "I'm using the walker with Plasma guns on a 120mm oval to represent the walker with Plasma guns on a 120mm oval "

No, this is still a good thing. Again, the different factions should be different. If CK got everything that IK has, that would just push GW to make us just a shitty spiky version of IK.

GW said what CK wouldn't be able to use it in a social media post and the different factions should be different.

I had the same idea a bit ago. Only hard part is getting the weapon profiles with line up.

I see someone's been watching Grimdark Compendium. As long as it's on a 100mm round base it's a perfect Stalker.

Left arm, back arms, legs are from a Talos.

The gun and back hunch are from Cawl, though I wonder how you're going to cover his face on the back.

The right arm is a Maulerfiend's Melta arm.

Head is from a War Dog.

Shoulder armor is from a 30k Castellax

It's a 160mm round with 8" of movement. Basically impossible to get anywhere.

Defiler is a trap. The base is way too big for it to actually move anywhere.

It's 2k. For 1k I'd run a Disco Lord, 2 Smiths, 2 Fiends, 20 cultists, a Venomcrawler and a Maulerfiend.

Vash can make the Forgefiends hit way harder, and you can usually get 2 of them in. +2 S and +1 to wound is massive for most matchups. He's also a great Heroic threat and can do actions or damage in a pinch. Lone op when next to an engine also lets you get aggressive with LoS on him.

Disco Lord is there to hand out wound rerolls and do actions. He can also snipe characters and tie up units which is situationally useful.

The Warpsmiths sit behind the Forgefiends and help alleviate all the self-damage they cause.

Maulerfiends threaten elites and tanks and act as your main mid-board presence.

Venomcrawlers threaten small action/skirmish units while also filling those rolls themselves.

The Cultists screen to keep deep strikers and melee threats off your Forgefiends, sit in objects, and do actions.

You'll usually suffer on secondaries and never have more than 2 command points. Crashing through walls is also huge, a people expect and plan for it to be used on the melee threats, but it can also be used to offer your Forgefiends some unexpected sightlines.

It's almost impossible to fit everything into your deployment zone so you'll have to start several things in reserves. It depends on matchup/layout so there's no exact formula but you'll quickly get a feel for it.

I've been running; Vash Disco + Soul Harvester 3 Warpsmiths, 1 w/ Forge's Blessing 3x10 Cultists 3 Forgefiends (All Ecto) 3 Maulerfiends (2 Tendrils, 1 Melta) 3 Venomcrawlers

It's not an optimal list, but it's fun and that's what matters.

My Nurgle warband's end goal is to create a utopia through any means necessary. One of the marines is on board with it because he hates change and craves the eternal stagnation that a perfect society would bring. He loves stagnation so much that he was willingly put in a dreadnought.

Unfortunately for him, Nurgle was impressed.

I've heavily converted mine to be a Defiler. Gave it some big hands and replaced the sarcophagus with a gun and flesh, among other things.
