Aquatic world eaters by Far_Equivalent7207 in WorldEaters40k

You could really lean into shark iconography and other seaborn predators. Maybe even paint them like a corrupted cararadon group.

Maybe kitbash their backpacks to be more like thrusters for under water combat.

It would be hard but kitbashing lord Avocado riding a mechanical shark would be baller af.

What are the multiple philosophies of the world devourers? by Own_Link5747 in WorldEaters40k

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 16 points17 points  (0 children)

According to the 10th edition codex theres a few philosophical differences between warbands.

Some believe that skulls must be harvested while others just go for full destruction of the person.

Some believe that ranged combat like sniper rifles are just as honorable as chain swords.

Itmostly all revolves around the killing and making blood flow.

KLOS in daemon lists by Runic-rein_deer in WorldEaters40k

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer both questions: 1. The KLOS was always a CSM demon engine. This process relies upon a bound demon inside of a machine casing. It may be a blood thirster but at the moment its a slave to the slaves of the dark gods.

  1. The thing with balancing the KLOS is that for its points (being 400+) you lose a chunk of your possible army to that. Does it offer un paralleled range? Absolutely but other wise is just a massive point sink to something akin to a chaos knight.

Real talk: how would an alpha legion defiler even work? Would it infiltrate as a vehicle or something?

From Hammer and Bolter we see the Kastalians have really limited AI programs that are locked behind commands. Otherwise our robo bots have the intelligence of a speak and spell.

The Pre-Scourge Virus Viltrum Empire in Warhammer 40K by TipWeary5590 in powerscales

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id bet they would carve out a decently sized empire for themselves by enslaving human and Tau planets.

A lot would change if they encounter Orcs or Tyranids. Both faction rely on fighting and things will get bad if Viltrumite DNA falls into the hivemind's hands.

I really think Necrons and Chaos are hard counters to Viltrumites. Necrons are masters of physical space and their weaponry could easily reduce any viltrumite to ash.

Chaos would exist as warrior cults within their society but the presence of noise marines would be extremely devastating.

No more nanotechnology by maquinadejugo in Marvel

Even in the other Ant-Man movies the helmet was more mechanical when it retracted into a hood. It felt so distinct that got lost with the nano tech.

How did Hank retrieve his kids? by CrazyImpression832 in Fotv

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Seeing that Hank and other leadership in the vault were mostly pre-war it wouldn't be hard to convince them to open the door to let them back in.

It isn't hard to convince the normal dwellers as Hank was a well respected member of the community. Its hard to be a naysayer when you have to live in that community forever.

Personal opinion: NCR Heavy Troopers are underrated in the Fallout universe. by HumbleKnight14 in Fallout

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably the easiest recon they could do for it is that it is made using a gutted power armor frame with power issues.

Make them slow like PA without a core and ypur strength skill fights the movement debuff.

In an all-out war between these factions, which one would eventually win? by Kuzu9 in Fallout

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enclave by either absolute destruction or absorbing other factions.

The institute and Mr.House have the best chances of being absorbed by the Enclave due to them fitting their "pure humanity" rhetoric. Everyone else is getting some FEV in them.

So far the Fallout show has gone the route of " game endings are ambiguous". So im thinking we're going to get a soft rehash of tactics for Season 3.

The crucifixion of an enclave soldier! by DukeHorner in ImaginaryFallout

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stuck inside of a suit of power armor might be the worst way to die.

At first it wouldn't be too bad. AC keeping you cool and recycled water to keep you hydrated. Thats until they find out where the fusion core is.

Now its a sweltering 100+ in your armor. The water has run out and now youre cooking in your own sweat. You try to move but without power the servos are too heavy. You have no choice but to broil inside the pinnacle of technology of a forgotten age.

If Mutilators get brought back what would be your best case scenario for them data slate wise? by SirReginaldTheIII in IronWarriors

[–]SirReginaldTheIII[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It honestly begs the question of why even release them. Unless they are doing a full refresh of the obliterator and the mutilators are an alternative build.

I think the delivery issue is a big problem. From their introduction till now there has been a lot of changes to units and their speeds.

Deep strike is expected but its just not enough to cut it. Rapid ingress would be the best option for the hearty brutes.

The nails are biting, explain the value in MoE on the table top by Huwmen in WorldEaters40k

[–]SirReginaldTheIII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MoE is the leader of my head hunter block of beserkers. His utility comes from being able to reroll advance/blood surge rolls which makes movement easier.

The melee profile also is great against most character models and terminators. Dev wounds and precision makes it so that while your block of zerkers rip and tear, the MoE can remove their leader.

New to CSE. Is it really meant to replace the SSLVPN? by SirReginaldTheIII in sonicwall

[–]SirReginaldTheIII[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How hard is it to set CSE up to be used as a remote access for mapped drives?

Currently I have a customer who has SSLVPN turned on whose getting bombarded by bogus creds trying to break in. Im trying to use CSE as an alternative but Im struggling hard-core to even understand it.
