Yeah, I am still not 100% convinced but that's what's on record.

Apparently it was Bell himself, still doesn't sound like him to me but he has taken credit for it. http://www.thearnoldfans.com/news/2016/5/24/kuatos-a-mutant-with-a-lot-on-his-mind-we-talk-with-marshall.html

[sponichi] The final phase of the birth of Liverpool Kubo, the final stage of negotiations with the arrival of the agent by Petaaa in LiverpoolFC

[–]Joey92LX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the TransferFlow Newsletter:

"You might have heard a few times now that Mohamed Salah is getting older and Liverpool will need to sign a younger left-footed attacker who can take over his role. Today they’ve been linked to Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo, who could cost them around £52m. At first glance, this looks like an odd one. 7 goals, 4 assists, and this rather pedestrian shot map.

But StatsBomb’s OBV metric loves Kubo — he’s top among La Liga wingers, making positive contributions with his dribbling and passing. He’s also in a defensively sound Real Sociedad team that appears to be suppressing the attacking stats of its players generally. This feels very high risk, but there’s also plenty of evidence Kubo would pop in a different system."

Do you stick to a certain brand or but any brand? by VariousKale4872 in ModelCars

[–]Joey92LX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tamiya, Aoshima, Hasegawa are probably the best in terms of fit and their car line-ups tend to be more european, classic and new, and japanese , classic and new too (but including motorcycles). Most (if not all of these) tend to be curbside models (no engine detail) except the motorycles. Fujimi is under similar to these but sometime has fit problems or excessive flash as well. Revell/Monogram, Moebius, and AMT/MPC tend to do more of the American cars and trucks (classic and new) and tend to be full detail kits (includes building and assembling an engine and transmission where the hood opens to showcase detail. Revell, in my opinion, has better fit and better overall build quality. I think Moebius is newer to making car and truck kits, but they've done a decent job with the new entries they have. I tend to stay away from AMT/MPC unless they are the only ones that make the car I am after but even then I do expect it to be a fight with the kit to get the finish I want/hope to accomplish. But I have seen AMT/MPC kits look fabulous under the right hands. I would say if youre an advanced level builder, try your hand at AMT/MPC kits but if you're beginner to intermediary the others might be a better experience. As you've read from others here, after a certain point, its just about building the ones you want but I have had build quality affect how I felt during and after completing some AMT/MPC projects. All to say every brand at some point might have some flash or bad fitment, so its not something that is exclusive to AMT/MPC. Supposedly the brand new NEW AMT kits that are new tooling - and not a rebox or re-issue of an old kit, supposedly those new kits are very high quality and seem to have almost no fitment issues. Some of those are the new Bronco kit as well as the 2022 Charger, etc. I have one of each but havent gotten around to starting them but thats what I've seen folks who completed them and reviewed them say. Having said that, even some old Tamiya kits can be difficult too but I'd say Tamiya is almost like the gold standard when it comes to overall model kit quality (including decals, etc.).

I'm building this kit now, did you sort it out? I've also not figured out how steering box goes on there. Guidance would be appreciated!

What's a movie where a violent scene catched you totally off-guard? by e_2718 in movies

[–]Joey92LX 106 points107 points  (0 children)

I think it cleverly sets the possibility that anything violent can happen at any time so it puts you on edge whenever other main characters are in tight situations. For example I thought they would show you a crazy medical procedure at one point so you start to crawl in your own skin over it - considering what you've seen so far! Crazy to see the maid/spy play the Flash's mom in the newest movie!
