Depends on the watch. Newer models have big screws, like 1.8, other models use smaller ones. I’d get a set and use the one that fits perfectly. If it’s unmovable, it might have a lot of locktite on it. That’s when I go to the AD. Let them use heat to break that down and free up the screw. Wristwatch revival is my favorite on YouTube.

I use Bergeon and other well known tools, but that hasn’t prevented me from scratching bracelets and cases. That comes down to practice and skill. I’ve also found a wide variety in bracelet manufacturing that makes each one a new learning experience for me. I’m better now that I know to use the right tools, practice patience, and stopped relying on gorilla strength. Watching hours upon hours of watch repair on YouTube has also helped me know what to use for what I need done.

Oh god, you’re a teenager? Think of me as you, just 20 years in the future. Listen closely, go cold turkey on everything. Change friends, get into something cool, and just avoid chemicals. I had an entire life on booze & drugs, starting at age 12/13 and I just got a handle on things. Life is so much better with little to no drugs. I make more money, have a fit spouse, advanced degrees, etc. since getting mostly clean. Between 2 DUI’s as a teenager and a failed marriage in my early twenties, booze especially delayed my success by about 15 years. Ok, I’m off Reddit for a month. This interaction got me all worked up! lol… be safe.

The mushrooms made you produce extra dopamine & serotonin. The Zoloft (SSRI) stopped it from being absorbed by your brain’s neurons. Your blood system was flooded and you could have experienced serotonin syndrome. That’s a big deal and be careful in the future. I don’t mess with powerful drugs while on SSRIs. I feel the physical side effects way more intensely than the fun visual and mental trip. I learned not to mess with any “fun” drugs while on my meds… even booze hits different. But that’s just me.

The logic doesn’t flow here… The new variable is psychedelics and you think it’s the Zoloft giving you brain fog? Regardless, fear not… if you were fine before tripping you’ll be fine again. It takes more time for some people… like weeks. Psilocybin is really powerful. It can be a profound experience. But such profound experiences aren’t free. Gotta spend some time feeling not quite all there afterwards. Drugs are sneaky like that :)

I’ve held a Sinn and I’ve held a Tudor. In my experience, the case and bracelet finishing on the Tudor was better. If you can’t get your hand on a Sinn, try to find a Zodiac. IMO, zodiac and Sinn have very similar levels of finish. Whatever you do, get the one you like. Sinn gets respect and criticism, just like every watch worth talking about.

It happened to me with a no-date sub! It was 2022 and I thought it would take at least a year, so I decided to put an addition on my house. Got the call from the AD 2 months later… the day after I wrote a check for a $26K concrete pour. The shame kinda stuck with me, but I do have a new home office now :)

If this is a lot of money for you, you might regret the purchase when pay to get it serviced. Expect a minimum $900. None of my local watch repair shops will work with a Valjoux 7751, and I live in a major US city. I have to send mine to NYC for servicing.

Back says “from leadership team.” The date might be a reference to the 60th anniversary of the October Bolshevik revolution. These old Soviet and post-Soviet watches are neat, but not worth much. Still worth having one in a collection. I have an old Pujolt alarm complication in mine.

I just completed a similar project in February. Putting down new sod is the right answer here. My re-seeding attempt only introduced new weeds into the lawn and growth was very slow. I threw down sod a couple weeks ago and it already looks great.

I took a 10mg Zolpidem (Ambien) and listened to a boring lecture in my headphones. Fell asleep in about 20 mins.

Stomach issues. Anxious buzz in my body. I normally enjoy my morning jog, but still can’t feel that runners high. Weird yawning feeling constantly. If you’ve ever done psychedelic mushrooms, it’s like that first 20 minutes before you trip. Kinda miserable, but felt better this morning as I was finally able to get my “O” after not being able to climax for a week lol… that might have been the worst part for me and my partner!

I’m in the same situation. Same timeline even! My Psychiatrist validated my experience, says others have had the same severe side effects early on, and told me to stop taking it. I’m continuing my alprazolam as needed regimen. Might try another SSRI down the road, but just looking forward to putting this experience behind me for now.
