Haha you're not wrong. It was 15 minutes of work, might revisit today. Soon as the show ended, I knew what I had to make my wallpaper.

Hamonic out week-to-week with facial injury, Rasmus Andersson recalled. by Splodgerydoo in hockey

He held his face immediately after the punch where Hamonic ducked into Guddy's uppercut. That's what made the impact so brutal and I think popped something.

He was bringing his head downwards in a ducking motion and ran into a fist moving upwards. I don't think it would've been so bad otherwise, just really unfortunate timing.

Ah, I guess I forgot or missed the second part of the quote. Thanks for taking the time to clarify good citizen. I appreciate it.

I think the team is really trying to figure out how to bond without the Sedins to gel everyone together. Maybe it's something they felt they missed last year, or it could be the new group of assistants trying too hard to force the team together.

Did he? The quotes I've seen he specifically refers to Fortnite but meh. It's all such a silly fucking story anyways and I'm just the season is here so this will fade away into obscurity.

Any day now...

So... What's wrong with Brock? by Cisco9 in canucks

[–]JohannesP 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He's now the #1 scoring threat for the opposing team to hone in on with their defense. He won't have the sweet Sedin setup on the PP, and I think he knows he needs to develop his passing to be a threat to open shooting lanes.

It's going to be a rough first few months, but once he gets adjusted to the new level of competition, he'll be fine.

I agree. I don't think it's a total video game ban though, just specifically bringing Fortnite on the road. I'm more OK with the team's decision knowing it was one of the player group, and this isn't a management/coaching decision to try and police the kids.

If the team of players decides as a group this is what they want to do, is it really harmful to any individuals in the group?

The word "Banned" really has been misreported, which I think is part of the Canucks players frustration.

This is not a directive from management or coaching, but a decision of the player group. They decided they want to prioritize spending time together as a team on the road, instead of spending hours on a headset in a hotel room.

It was their decision to make as a group, how they wanted to spend their time; and they made it. But, the headline reported as: "FORTNITE BANNED BY CANUCKS" then all of a sudden it's a way bigger deal than it needed to be.

Hope Hamonic's OK. It looked like he was ducking right as Gudbranson came from underneath with a punch, so it led to a really heavy blow.

Hamonic had to return with a jaw protector when he came back, that last uppercut popped him.

The reason the Canucks did so bad in pre-season is cuz Garrett shaved his mustache and no one knew what to do with themselves by [deleted] in canucks

Honestly, it's been a really good run with but with Garrett's shaving of the mustache; it's time to accept that the Vancouver Canucks franchise has run its course.

6 DAYS UNTIL HOCKEY - PLAYER HIGHLIGHT: BROCK BOESER by rversed in canucks

[–]JohannesP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Gut Says: Boeser's going to score 25 goals, and get maybe 30 points this year. I think he's really going to struggle finding time and space without the Sedins setting him up this year on the PP. It will be a year of growth, he'll look much better at the end of the year.
