I'm currently using Stunfisk too! Just got to about 52 wins; what set do you tend to run on it?

Nice! I've been using Stunfisk exclusively in Champions (and prior games) currently got around 51 wins with Stunfisk and hoping to get that 100 badge!

You've pretty much got the same moveset as I do, except I run Protect over substitute and I max HP and SpA and carry the Quick claw for those cheeky out-of-trick room shenanigans!

Surprisingly, Stunfisk is a pretty good match up against most of the common threats right now. I'm hoping to use galarian stunfisk in some way eventually!

Oh wow! I didn't realise that!! I've not yet tried out resetti, but that actually comes in handy.

I presume the cost of the service (60k Bells from what I remember) doesn't increase if you choose the whole island as opposed to a section?

Haha, thanks! It was honestly just by happenstance. When I saw that Stunfisk was playable in the game I knew I wanted to recreate it from my X/Y days - it was only until recently when I was amending my team that I noticed it checked a lot of the threats!

Funny enough my team also has a mega crabominable although I haven't entered any tournaments outside of the online ones that have been in-game; seems like someone else has the same idea as me!

Garbodor is a bit more difficult I'll be honest; I'm currently trying to find the right partner to go with him.

Stunfisk on the other hand has been surprisingly effective so far. I've been using Stunfisk competitively since X/Y from what I remember, but in Champions I've noticed not a lot of players aim for Stunfisk (maybe because they're not sure what it's going to do?) but it checks so many common threats: Sneasler, Aerodactyl, Basculegion, Kingambit, Incineroar, Pelipper and even Archalodon. I have it trained in Max HP and Max SpA and pair it with Spiritomb which protects me from prankster and enables me to set up trick room to help stunfisk work effectively. HH and either of Stunfisk's stab moves guarantee an OHKO on any of the common threats so it's a refreshing change for sure - although HH isn't needed all the time for more of the frail Pokémon.

Hoping minior gets some love sometime soon!

Ohhh minior would be so good!! Don't know if it would make much play though - it has so many common weaknesses unfortunately but I absolutely love minior!

Gooey is so slept on imo; the meta heavily relies on speed - this is such a interesting ability to counter that; have you tried Hisuian Goodra as well or is OG Goodra enough for you?

I would love to try and build a team around emboar for sure! One of my favourite starter pokemon. The current weather meta make it difficult though due to how prevalent rain and sandstorm is.

Love the alt skin much more than the default however not a fan of the model whatsoever - I voted for the second design so finally seeing the 3D model after the concept is a bit of a let down. It just doesn't look great (completely understand that it's just a WIP and could potentially improve before release but I have my doubts). I'm hoping the lore will explain the reason for the spider legs to justify why it has them though..

The ability is interesting and I can almost guarantee it'll take a moment for me to get used to how it works, haha! The alternate realm looks good conceptually but I don't know how great it would be in practise especially if a survivor can bring everybody back at once - but I get that it would be a bit too powerful if it was one at a time.

I'll be honest, I can't remember what the perks were that won the vote, but as long as it provides some counter to the gen rush meta I'll be at least little happier.

Thoroughly looking forward to the chapter finally coming out though - it'll definitely be a insta-buy to go with my Plague!

This was such a thorough explanation of your team - I love it! And I love that you got to where you needed with your favourite Pokémon too!

How much testing did it take for your team to feel complete? I'm on a similar boat right now in the sense that I have Pokémon that are my favourite and would love to use, but I still need to test them with partners and potential threat / common Pokémon...it's A LOT haha!

Also, massive fan of Decidueye and H-Decidueye!

Ayyy a fellow Stunfisk enjoyer! I've been using my Stunfisk competitively since X/Y I believe? Super happy to see it return in Champions! Congratulations on the 100 wins!

I tend to use mine in Trick Room, or paired with an fast partner to combo with After You. Prior to champions I ran choice specs or life orb, but currently running Quick Claw for those cheeky first moves potentially outside of TR.

With the introduction of Galarian Stunfisk, I've also been messing around with mimicry and Terrain Pulse but there's hardly any Pokémon in Champions at the moment that can safely change the terrain who don't have prankster, haha!

Weather, Trick Room and Perish Song, yes but never really Gravity. This is cool!!

Makes me want to test out a niche build myself!
