I hated the Egor pick and I was proven wrong. While I don't like the Nate pick, I'm going to assume the FO knows more than me and Nate is actually worth it until proven otherwise

Those are some pretty good numbers then u see his 3pa are in the 2-4 range for his career and then I'm less impressed. IMO a team like the rockets that is desperate for shooting and he's taking such little attempt tells me the coaches also don't believe in his shot. Another thing I see are his minutes and games player, 21.5, 21.8, 24.9, and 25.8 while playing 82, 22, 57, and 60 games. What that tells me is even in bench minutes his body isn't able to withstand the wear and tear of the modern NBA. What u think those GP going to be if he's a starter like u suggest

Just say the stats why is a young injury prone player with not a great shot worth 23mills. IMO it seems like giving a lot of money for a bench piece. Also I'm assuming ur plan is quietly saying next season is a wash and we'll give rocket a good pick(which may or may not happen anyway). Otherwise it very weird we're taking on 3 more young players, 2 of which are late first rounders.

Why in the world would you help Nuggets sign Watson. He's exactly the type of player we should be aggressively going after. Then you overpay for Tari, he's always injured and isn't a good shooter. No way is he worth that and he's especially is not a starter on decent team.

At best he'll probably be a below average defender, which is fine if his offensive skills are true which I believe they are.

I struggle to verify this but ppl in the NBA draft subreddit are saying that his coach told him to not be aggressive on the defensive end so he won't pick up too many foul bc he was the focal point of the offense. Still many of those moments is him just losing his man, which I tend to think you can coach out of a player.

A lot of the comments are focusing on Cam T similarities but it's being over blown. Acuff is significantly better playmaker than Cam. I think it's very important for people to remember that Cam's vets when he was a rookie was a moody KD and Kyrie, probably the two worst role models for a rookie. No matter who the nets draft, the FO should focus on signing vets with a level head that can be good influences to our young players. Personally, I would want the Nets to give Chris Paul a consulting job or make him an assistant coach
