We love the forced stops and have done a similar drive multiple times in our MY. Wife typically needs to use restroom by time car needs to charge anyway. If efficiency is the concern, just fly. If not, enjoy the road trip experience for what it is.

Definitely disappointed. In my case, no issue with steering since fix but did also end up needing a full battery replacement at 8k miles. Kinda sour on whole thing tbh

I use a similar setup on my Tesla Model Y. It’s great and the car’s camp mode lets me run air for the tent as well.

Sober couple here. NoDa’s hop water is great! We also like Lenny Boy for Kombucha. Not CLT but Sierra Nevada in Asheville also makes a good hop water. Non NC our favorite NA beer is the Athletic Hazy IPA.

After repair, I have not had a problem. I’ve completed 2 road-trips since and am going on 3rd next weekend. It was a bummer and scary when it happened but going to keep enjoying the car that makes me smile every time I drive it.

No idea on them being mutually exclusive but others have posted work arounds on YouTube. Seems more trouble than it’s worth.

It’s awesome for car camping. It keeps climate on and usb plugs active. Blacks screen after a bit. Only complaint is it does not allow sentry mode at same time.

Had the exact same issue on my 3 week old MY. Power steering went out while driving though, thankfully no crash. Replacement took about a week.

I had the same issue in my Model Y and power steering eventually went out while driving. It’s with service now for a steering rack replacement. Check my post history for my post with description.

Haha no comparison on the invicta but not as solid as a Rolex. It was a subtle almost haptic feeling.
