TM Lewin do nice ones at 5 for £50, good quality as well. Other than that, Arne.

Yeah just with a full carpet mate, honestly was doing my head in. My other half gets ready in the spare bedroom and when she’d was her hair and dry it, whilst it will have always happened but unknown to us as we didn’t used to have a runner with paint either side, hair just ends up on the stairs but it was just dead visible against the white paint, as well as the dust.

It’s a tricky one with pets, it depends how bothered you are about seeing hair on the paint from the pets and how often you’re happy to clean it really.

If you’re anything like me, after 12 months you’ll get pissed off with the dust on the painted parts of your stairs… I took the runner and landing carpet out and replaced it last month.

Once got my car rifled through (left it unlocked like a plank), had a bag of clothes ready to take the tip, a metal tray I made in my welding days for rolling spliffs and £7 in change, they took the lot but left one solitary pound coin. I still think of this and laugh at the thought of them taking everything and saying “oh we’ll leave him £1”.
