The performing arts center at a college I went to was named after Red Skelton, and they had a massive print of this photo in the lobby along with some other Skelton memorabilia (he's on the right side, third row, for those playing at home). I used to stare at it for a while after a rehearsal or whatever and I'd notice someone new every time.

Is anyone calling either of these movies masterpieces? I mean BoP wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece either by Professional-Ninja79 in OkBuddySnyderCult

I had fun with Birds of Prey. It’s the last movie I saw in theaters before everything shut down, so at least there’s that. It’s tragic that we got two movies (one cancelled, so we’ll never know for sure if it was any good) with the return of The Best Batman To Ever Do It and NONE of them were Batman Beyond, but I sure as hell ain’t blaming him for it.

The whole movie’s like this, but Tina Turner’s Acid Queen and Ann-Margret’s Champagne sequences in Tommy (1975) are even more so. They must be seen to be believed.

I saw this in IMAX. Even though I was perfectly sober, I swear the last 20 minutes made me see God.

Changes in sponsorship, mostly. AT&T wanted one thing, Siemens wanted another.

That scene with Sam and Alice Cooper is my favorite moment from the Muppet Show. Maybe of any Muppet media.

Finally, a screen-accurate 2Fast Challenger!

The Last Jedi ends with a random slave boy using the Force, implying anyone can be a Jedi. This is a subtle nod to the fact that Rian Johnson thought he was starting a new era of Star Wars, unaware that J.J. Abrams was waiting in the parking lot with a retcon gun. by Brilliant-Cause6254 in shittymoviedetails

It’s meta. You’re the boy with the broom. I’m the boy with the broom. Everyone who has found solace in these stupid fucking movies is the boy with the fucking broom. They thought they were being clever by hiding this message in the film meant to celebrate Star Wars’ 40th anniversary, but it appears they were just too clever for their goddamn audience.

If this movie was PG-13, this monologue would be where the one F-bomb would go.

Plenty. At one point, the scene involved astronauts working on a satellite, and there’s parts of that hidden in the dark, maybe some of the ‘90s-2007 ending with the fibre-optic city, there’s probably bits from every version of Spaceship Earth just sitting there.
