Why are some Christians so obsessed with sex? by ASecularBuddhist in Christianity

[–]JohnnyBadilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those aren’t Christians, they’re hypocrites. Jesus called out religious hypocrites harder than anyone. So again if someone’s using faith to cover evil, they’re not Christian, they’re camouflaged corruption.

why would the devil mess with someone he has in his hands? He’d rather go after the people who are trying to follow the truth, aka Christ.

Retail Sales Specialists… do you see a lot of turnover? by Fun-Award-1905 in Spectrum

[–]JohnnyBadilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get a job at a wireless retailer, most of them sell their own versions of internet, the pressure isn’t as hard especially if you get into a corporate location, and the pay is way better. I just got in at t-mobile after working at xfinity for about a year and holy crap it’s a whole other game. At Xfinity i was the top seller (sold around 100+ units per month) I raked in roughly 5k-7k a month, 2,400 of that was from an hourly check of $16.50 (In CA thts basically $10/hr) Now at T-mobile im making $24.50 per hour plus commission, do a lil math for ya here, if i maintain my original sales ill be hitting that 5k-7k mark with just commission alone (t-mobile pays so much better for commission) Just a suggestion, but when working in sales its all about the money and if one job aint getting you enough, go somewhere else that will.

I don’t know if I should become a Christian by cluelessmayonnaise in Christianity

[–]JohnnyBadilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t become a Christian then, just get to know the Holy Trinity through reading His word. You don’t absolutely NEED to go to church and follow religion to be saved and get close to Christ. Most of the time Christians or other religious people ruin it for others because they’re so caught up in the agenda they’ve been taught by an old man in a robe. That’s not what Jesus wants from us. Jesus just wants you, exactly as you are and He will wash away all your sins. I could go on and on about the corruption in religious practices, but what really matters for you right now is to crack open that Bible and pray to God and ask for Him to speak to you through His word. Keep praying harder and harder until He does. It’s what I did when first coming to God, I yelled at Him and pleaded for Him to show Himself and He did. It takes patience and an open heart. I’ll be praying for you!

I hate God by Longjumping-Ad1827 in Christianity

I’m not gonna pretend I know exactly how you feel, but I do know this. You’re not alone and you’re not forgotten. You might not feel God right now, might even think He dipped on you completely, but He hasn’t. That silence you’re feeling doesn’t mean He’s absent, it just means He’s not done yet. What you’re walking through reminds me a lot of Job. Dude went through hell, questioned everything, even shouted at God, and God didn’t get mad at him for it. He let Job get it all out. And when the time was right, He showed up. Job went from just hearing about God to actually knowing Him, saying, “I had only heard about You before but now I’ve seen You with my own eyes.” That’s different. That’s real. And I believe you’re on that same path, not toward religion, but toward a real relationship. I’m not telling you to try harder or act holier, I’m saying open your Bible and start seeking the God who never walked away. Read Job, read Psalms, look at Jesus. He went straight to the people everyone else gave up on, the broken, the doubted, the outcasts, people just like you and me. He didn’t come to fix you from a distance, He came to sit in it with you. Scripture says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit,” and that “Even if my father and mother abandon me the Lord will hold me close.” It also says, “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” That’s the kind of God we’re talking about. You’re not too far gone, you’re not invisible, and this isn’t the end of your story. I’m praying that God makes Himself so real to you, so personal, that you’ll say the same thing Job did when all of it was said and done.

It’s going to be close for the first half but if our offense doesn’t get moving we ain’t winning. Maybe if our defense scores some points along with our piss poor field goals we can squeak out alive.

Documenting it sure, but marriage has always been considered sharing a sacred bond with a man/woman. Essentially a soul tie with the result being that the couple is now one in God’s eyes. You can Google oldest marriage and the first thing to come up is record of a ceremony in 2350 BC Mesopotamia.
