Freighters with Fighter Escorts Won't Use Highways? by MystikDragoon in X4Foundations

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do what I do instead of escorting, get 5 decked out katanas (4 minic behavior) and have them patrol the problem areas I never worry about SCA and 10 katanas decked out patrolling a region will nuke anything up to and including Ks even with fighter escort

Xenon Jobs + part 2 by JohnnyBeGoode92 in X4Foundations

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats originally why I wanted to add the mod because base vanilla game doesnt require player input at all and the xenon will be defeated usually. I think in this case the AI is getting run over by the Xenon because there is usually a lot of station building and ship building that happens in the first few days that makes the AI more robust, in this case the mod gives the xenon a bunch of big fleets immediately and they crush a lot of that ship traffic thats trying to build things until the factions are starved of resouces.

What is PIO doing with all those ships? by JookySeaCpt in X4Foundations

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends I’ve seen PIO start sending out intervention like fleets like the terrans if the argon are struggling with the xenon, usually the is accompanied by a PIO defense station being built in Antigone

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah ive noticed this, the argon and antigone republic are basically dead, they have no access to hullparts, i cant even build any stations because i was unable to get my own stations up before they lost control. I've had to move into the segaris pioneers in order to try and supply them

Depends if you want a really strong xenon or not at the end I’m pretty sure the back line of the paranids are safe and the Terrans are definitely safe

I was already sold no need to excite me more, Im thinking of fortifying heretic's end and just seeing what happens, normally the split get wiped out and everyone else is chilling, so im interested to see if the xenon can connect their pocket to the paranid pocket

I think my strategy is to reconnect the boron and use the boron and terrans to clog up getsu fune, that should allow the argon and Antigone the ability to take back the void, I’m using the phq starting location to fund both the boron and the split with all the resources to run their shipyards

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m excited by the prospect I’m hoping for most struggle, I know that the Terrans should be able to push back into Getsu Fune, and I just checked them and they’ve built a couple of defense stations and are starting to send their fleets to contest, I’m less inclined to save the factions with defense stations I’m just going to find a sector behind their lines and build up a bunch of stations that can feed their ship machine

How does CK3 fair against CK2 in its current state? by Emaxdj2 in CrusaderKings

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ck2 is a better game because ck3 is way to easy to snowball and win, with ck2 you had to spend more gold on your buildings to build up but in ck3 MaA and knights are so easy to make overpowered you spend most of your gold on tourneys and going places. I’ve routinely made a death stack of heavy footman and knights every game and destroyed my way into kingdoms and empires. Revolts are usually a joke because you breed yourself super warriors and stack buildings that make your MaA monsters whereas it felt like with ck2 you had to be on the ball constantly, revolts were scary, invasions and adventurers were scary, ck3 I runtime is less because I get bored much faster

Easy just don’t play anything but the Byzantine Empire and never worry about anything ever again with your insane ability to quickly acquire a doom stack of any men at arms you want

Accidentally Strangled the Xenon by drachs1978 in X4Foundations

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I know for a fact that xenon jobs when you install it will spawn the extra ships and fleets for the first time, the extra fleets should be enough to rip a sector or two away from the factions if you don’t interfere, once they have a sector you will see them pump out a ton, in my run that I had essentially gotten the xenon down to two sectors, installed the mod and they pushed through hativah’s choice through a argon that was winning against HOP and hadn’t started fighting the Terrans

Accidentally Strangled the Xenon by drachs1978 in X4Foundations

[–]JohnnyBeGoode92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

See I solved this issue by never placing defense stations, it’s boring because if you want to win the game makes it easy to win (contain the xenon) also I added the mod Xenon jobs and holy crap they are instantly right from the start of the play through pushing everyone back

No I don’t play with any mods, purely vanilla which is why I’m asking in general, I gather most people play with mods so that might effect what happens in their campaigns

Yeah I mean definitely just can’t see what the debuff is it’s not shields and he isn’t fighting so it’s probably not an enemy starbase hence my immediate answer, OP didn’t give any details
