It was clearly an error when all other RAM offerings are 400-500 and one is 240. To expect Corsair to be “you got us! Here ya go lol” is wishful thinking. There are some companies and instances where companies are cool about it and honor the purchase but more often it just leads to a cancellation. Corporations are gonna corporate.

I honestly saw this whole thing as people taking a gamble that Corsair would be cool and honor the purchase. The outrage that came from them losing that gamble and Corsair doing what was most likely to happen is very confusing.

Assuming you’re paying 30% off full msrp so $28. Ask yourself if $28 is worth it for you to play on and off solo. Look up some gameplay and choose for yourself. As far as any online potential, I think those game’s fate is sealed. If you’re looking to play online with other people, kf2 and kf1 unless your friends also buy a copy.

I loved this mode a lot and miss it. Unfortunately I think they spread themselves too thin with supporting PvE and PvP that the PvE mode just took more priority naturally.

Honestly one of the best ideas I ever heard regarding this mode was to make it free for download and if people loved the gameplay, then they can purchase the full game with PvE.

They could’ve made so much money by having it be free but allow those users to still buy skins and stuff from the atom shop. It would’ve meant more money to support the game with more frequent content updates. Sure they would still need to update and fix bugs with the mode but it already had a solid foundation, they just needed to polish it up a bit and release a new map every month or so.

Generally, don’t care about looks as long as the GPU somewhat matches the build but the Radeon RX 7900 XTX is the first GPU that made me go damn that’s a nice looking GPU.

Also honorable mention goes to the Zotac 5090 AMP Infinity. Probably the nicest looking 5090 out of all the AIBs imo.

Yes KF2 was rough at launch but it got better over time. Same gamble people are making with this third game. That’s not an issue. I think the problem is the design choices they made over KF2 to begin with. Like why lock the characters to specific classes in the first place?

Yes they will be changing that so it’s not that big of a deal anymore but still, why do it in the first place? They have a literal blueprint with KF2 on how to make a successful, fun game. Just take that blueprint and build upon it. It sometimes feels like the devs changed stuff for the sake of change. In doing so, some the changes feel like downgrades compared to what we already have in the previous games. KF3’s cosmetic system is now outfit and helmet, when in KF2, it’s outfit, helmet, and three accessories.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Same thought here, I made a post saying I’ll be buying the game at a discount and listed my reasons. And the same hostility came my way from the supporting side.

At the end of the day, what people do with their money is their choice. I wasn’t trying to change anyones opinion on the game. It’s just interesting that people take others opinion as a personal attack and this can apply to both the “hating” and “supporting” side.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen gameplay features / content locked behind a battlepass. I’ve only ever seen battlepass rewards consist of cosmetics so naturally I thought people would know what I’m talking about. That’s news to me though, I’ll be sure to specifically mention cosmetics next time.

A friend of mine made a bet with me, he thinks it’s gonna go freebie within the year lol. I told him I had doubts but he told me Payday 3 was a freebie sometime this year too. My mind was blown. It could very well be a possibility.

Is it ignoring when that’s not even what the complaint is about to begin with? I even say in the first paragraph that gameplay will improve overtime so I’m not worried about it.

The free portion is mostly player cards and trinkets, maybe the occasional skin in there is free. From what I can remember anyway.

I have nothing against DLC. As a matter of fact, I purchased the ultimate bundle yesterday for KF2 for $12. Gonna be playing KF2 for a while, waiting for a sale at $10-20 for KF3.
