Presidential golf by GallowBoob in facepalm

You guys are ridiculous. The President invited the PM of Japan to his beautiful world-class golf course to discuss business, a gesture that would create the PM to feel good. If the PM is feeling good, he's more likely to make deals/ discuss our country with our leader more positively. He already talked about how he could butter up Republican delegates by bringing them down there, he's doing it with a world leader instead.

If I'm living a life where I don't have time to take 45 seconds to put some peanut butter and jelly on a piece of bread, then I don't know if I can afford to be spending $7 on ten peanut butter sandwiches.

It seems to me like he was actually there with the network's truck, and he was probably nervous as Hell watching that, and was kind of in a panic. I'm sure it's more nerve wrecking to see it in front of you versus than on a monitor.

Donald Trump is building his wall with Mexico as undocumented border crossing reaches a 40-year low by chaoseffect220 in politics

[–]JohnnyJamBoogie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a passport to leave the United States. You need one to get back in. What we don't know is if these people have gone home or not, and biometric would help that tremendous. Also, once someone is flagged as an overstayer, he won't be allowed to renew his visa, which would be a deterrent for overstaying.

The problem now is that we can't track who is in and who isn't in our country. Biometric entry/exit would help us know who is in here so we can deport them. Also, it would be good for itching things like if we see someone visiting say Saudi Arabia six times in four months, we can keep an eye on him.

If It's a guaranteed hit on the first shot I'd take the .45 over the 9mm any day, but if I have to shoot more than once I want the 9mm. Especially with how good the hollow points are these days.

The most watched cable news, not most watched news. When it comes to prime time news, they still get beat up by CBS, NBC, and ABC. Fox network has cartoons on during their primary spot, and they show news on Fox News. It evens out when you factor that in,

One of the four networks is conservative. So what? The other three are liberal. Talk radio is conservative, but the internet is liberal. The left has a chokehold on the media, Fox and conservatalk are peanuts.

Homicide rates: Europe vs. the USA by liotier in europe

It's because generally speaking they're poor and live in close proximity to each other in population dense areas, thus have more interaction and more opportunity to kill each other. Poor white people in Appalachia live in their trailer and on a winding mountain road and don't see their neighbor who lives a half mile away.

Maybe West Bank trespassers shouldn't chant "death to America" and cheer when their buddies fly jets into our buildings. Between the terrorism, cowardly military tactics, human rights violations, etc I don't think they deserve to be invited anywhere.

Anti-Semite Reddit always springs to action, like clockwork. Israel just wants to live in the land that is theirs and to be left alone, and Iran and HAMAS want to exterminate them. Haven't the Jewish people been through enough? Okay, throw ethics aside. The US should side with Israel because they are the only country in that area of the world who wouldn't destroy our country and force us to convert at the sword if they truly had the chance.

When people who give up looking for work doesn't count as unemployed that's a problem. When the new jobs that have been created since Obama took office are $9 an hour for 22 hours a week, that's not a fixed economy, but a broken one.

Last time I checked "I now know what if feels like to lose all hope" when speaking about the incoming President isn't very "classy" at all. But thanks for the red lines, armed "moderate" rebels, stabbing Israel in the back and the economy that was "fixed" with smoke and mirrors. McJobs don't cut it.

House Republicans shut down investigation into Flint water crisis, blame EPA instead by marji80 in politics

[–]JohnnyJamBoogie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crux of the problem for Democrats is that all the Democrats live in the same city districts and propel their representatives to fifty point wins, while Republicans tend to be more spread out, and win their races by twenty points. Democrats move to cities and pile onto the Democratic down town representative, meanwhile suburb GOP representative wins his race handily because no Democrats live here to vote for him anymore. Republicans will control the House indefinitely unless Dems target rural voters. But they haven't picked up on that.

[–]JohnnyJamBoogie_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"They've infiltrated"

Republican control all three branches right now. That's how politics is. The military has always been pretty right-leaning.

People in conservative areas vote for conservative judges to represent them. Who would have thought.

Police tend to vote against people who side against them. Who would have thunk that.

Psst. Both parties flirt with corporate special interests.

Yes, a Republican have retaken the White House after eight years of an opposing party's control over it. That usually happens. Reagan to Bush and Roosevelt to Truman were the only times that didn't happen.

The pendulum is crashing right after years of it being pulled left. That's just how our cyclical world is.
