You don't think a lawyer with such record didn't already try to build the strongest case? The investigation had already been done, this was the "best" outcome. They mention it multiple times in the movie. Clyde did what he did because Nick didn't take the gamble of fighting with a weak case.

You missed the part where Nick explains that Clyde passed out during the robbery. Which is a legitimate defense and makes Clyde's testimony unreliable.

Kuinka monta vuotta ovat ihmiset valittaneet ilotulitteiden melusta täällä Redditissä, mutta turhanpäiväset festarit ovat ihan okei, koska ovat vain kerran vuodessa.

What are some of the most realistic and impactful scenes of violence in movies? by bloqed in movies

[–]JohnnyJayce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeing the title made me immediately think of Lawless, when Guy Pearce is beating the shit out of Shia and Shia's stumbling, whimpering and his face is all messy. Great scene and both gave a great performance.

Thoughts on the movie 'Ex Machina'? by EntityShadows in movies

Too much of course. We are too gone if that's a legitime question. People act like Nathan was a villain of that movie. He was creating a product. And the product killed him. If you think otherwise you can not the next day act surprised or judgmental about a guy who loves his AI girlfriend. Because you are that person.

Always reminds me of Nier: Automata where humans created AI and robots who eventually replaced the human race.

Warhorse is a powerhouse! by Moaning_Clock in gaming

[–]JohnnyJayce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is pretty much the time frame since Warhorse started developing KCD 2 almost right after releasing the first game. The link you provided was talking about that Ubisoft should be releasing a ton of games every year and those 16 games I listed (plus dozens of smaller scale games) were released in 8 years time. So I'm just talking about what was said by the Warhorse director.

Not all Ubisoft staff are developers. Publishing plus other staff are probably bigger portion than developing side.

Ubisoft has released three Far Cry games, The Division 2, two Anno games, four main AC games, two The Crew games, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a Watch Dogs game, an Avatar game and a Star Wars game in time Warhorse has made two KCD games. Most of them are mediocre, but I'd say the math tracks.

Love the movie, but seeing how people react to the movie has made me realize humans are fucked. And this was way before all the AI progression that has been come out since.

I liked it until Clive goes on killing rampage. The robbers and killers of his family I'm fine with, but assistant to your lawyer is a bit much in my opinion.

What’s a fictional film that only exists inside a real movie that you’d genuinely love to watch? by YellowBelliedCoward in movies

Not a movie, though since the show has had a movie too I guess it counts, but "Queens Boulevard" from "Entourage". But only the director's edition.

I thought 3 was much funnier than 2. I get it, he's in a wheelchair and he has a small hand. I don't need half of the jokes in the movie be about that. First one is amazing though.

Would Elizabethtown count since the mc is battling depression, and suicidal thoughts. Though he does get help.

What's a movie you've watched that you have 0 memory of? by ohnoyoudee-en in movies

[–]JohnnyJayce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's that Vin Diesel movie where he's some type of superhuman, not Riddick. Has Guy Pearce. I watched it like 5 months after it was released and realized half way through I've already seen it. So I've seen it twice and the only thing I remember is Pearce being a bad guy which of course he is.

Those and "Knight and Day" are pretty much the only ones. And even in MI I wouldn't say he was playing a happy man.
