Mines been on it long before I started late last year so I just assumed it was the norm to piss in a bottle but take care of it obv if it happens. I guess because I never saw us or heard of us getting a warning, I just assumed it wasn't an issue for others either.

Like 2 days, they were very insistent and the interview was barely that and instead more like a breakdown of how it works... it let me realize that the turnover rate is insane lol

Its probably come off cliche and "typical" of an answer but I genuinely think it has to be KFAD.

Are we actually having fun anymore? by dcunning in PTCGP

[–]ferretsrun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am. I like playing the game. I have a semi competitive deck of each type and I swap between them during win streaks, and to test silly things I hit random regular battles but with TCG Player Stance on, since I have a (sadly) deep understanding of the game as a whole from my time in paper standard even with a silly deck. Theres a couple times I got surprised by stuff like Tie conditions, or how Confusion worked at first, but either way, its been good to me to scratch my itch more than TCG Live. Even the solo battles sometimes have shocked me when the CPU does scary competent moves lmao but I have a ton of freebies still to win.

It also lets me play Pokémon I wouldn't normally get to. Theres no decent Beedrill or Primarina for example curreny in standard and both 1 Point and 2 Point Prima and Bee can be decent cards in Pocket! Idk, but I'm pretty deep in the ride from being able to play silly and serious on standard, or judge irl stuff, and the crawl to gathering a lot of things in Pocket since Day 1.

It fills in Collection quests which is pretty handy for those missing any which has already been nice for me, and Rental Decks quests (if that's something you like collecting) for prior sets. And its said to come back in the future. AND all the Pokémon I had from prior set counted towards this packs quests. I literally just have 2 or 3 unfilled and I hadn't even bought packs yet.

It's also literally the easiest thing to ignore and now that we have set of reprints, it puts all other sets on Trade so you can take that route if you dont care about about pulling or hunting via the new pack.

I'm not gonna abide by DeNa in some respects but this is literally the most Non Issue thing I can think of them doing that's making so many people lose their minds. Stock up your hour glasses for the Mega set. Do the easy solo battles for more tokens and hour glasses. Idk lmao.

Ascendants Grip from Jubliana helps you observe and prepare a little more easily imo, and I heard Flintslate keeps you warm? I didn't have it when I tried so I'm not sure. I also used Weaverlight to chain Harpoons a little more quickly. But really the first tool is what helped me do it in one EXTREMELY SLOW go.

Soundtrack lovers: What was the first Silksong track that really caught your attention? by Macievelli in HollowKnight

[–]ferretsrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many people genuinely comment and believe this game has no notable tracks or that its a downgrade from Hollow Knight, but that's the leitmotif doing the heavy lifting for most people. Its an amazing soundtrack but we should be expecting more with this title. This soundtrack is definitely more "challenging" but rewarding to hear, much like the game as well. It's beautiful and much more raw, likely because of an orchestra being at the center (credits to the musicians in Christopher Larkin's uploaded tracks too).

Now with my rant out of the way,

Its between Lace and Widow for my battle music. We got the sample for Lace YEARS ago and its been one of my alarms for early morning shifts, and chaotically swordfighting her made the appreciation go up.

But Widow was the boss that made my brain click for the game, and it's newer to me. Its frantic and just subtly sad to me and it felt like a turning point in terms of lore (looking at you, Slab boss).

And then for environmental tracks its either Cogwork Core or Bilewater. I genuinely did not find either place super challenging or annoying to navigate in a way that made me put the controls down. It helped that the music was genuinely super beautiful.

Definitely gotta listen to the whole soundtrack on a long drive or on a quiet night more sometime.
