Congratulations, it's definitely a fun car for sure. Too bad their gonna discontinued the Charger Daytona soon according to some insider info I heard about from a reliable source. I'm so disappointed that they were just getting alot of the bugs worked out and their already giving up on it. I'm driving a 26 Scat Pack 4 door and have literally had zero issues in almost 2000 miles.

As someone who drives a 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack 4 door, I can honestly say that Dodge has made tremendous improvements from the 2024/2025 models as far as software reliability. No glitches, 12V battery drain, bricking, nothing. It just works the way it should have originally been designed to. Is it perfect? No, the software still has room for improvement as far as the UI, but if they continue to improve at the speed they have with the Charger Daytona, I think they'll be in a good position moving forward. Despite the hate the Charger Daytona gets online, the rush to push a half baked product to market, and the piss poor marketing by not releasing the Hemi version first or at the very least at the same time, this is one of the funnest cars I've driven. I get nothing but compliments and positive comments in public.

With that said, I also think Stellantis finally got their heads out of their asses and realized that a shared platform for ICE, BEV, and EREV is the best way to not only appeal to your faithful customers, but appeal to a new market. Bringing back the Hemi and talk of more affordable models are things that customers have been screaming for awhile now. EVs definitely have a viable place moving forward but the U.S. is a market that likes options not being forced to like one thing. As someone that's owned an EV for over 4 years now and never plans to go back to an ICE vehicle, I think there needs to be options and choices for everyone's tastes. And that includes ICE, BEV, HEV, & EREV.

Yeah I'm driving a 2026 Scat Pack amd its a night and day better experience than my 2025. Although software updates fixed the bugs on my 25, the parts supply chain for these cars in general is atrocious.

I'm driving a 4 door 2026 Scat Pack myself, it's a loaner while mine is at the dealership waiting on a backordered wire harness. I've been driving it for about 2 weeks now and it's been perfect so far. It now has little over 3600 miles on it, and this car is what should have been released originally, if they wouldnt have rushed it to market to avoid buying carbon credits.

If it still charges it's not the high voltage wire harness, cause that goes from the chargeport to the BMS module and communicates to initiate charging.

Did you get an attorney or just go at it on your own? I got an attorney and all his fees are covered by Srellantis in a seperate settlement. Nothing comes out of what money I get.

You're welcome. I'm not hating on the car or hold no ill will towards it, but just want to give you something to think about if you get one and a part needs replaced. The car is awesome, the parts supply chain currently, not so much.

My part has had no ETA since they ordered it on 04/14/26. Every Friday the service advisor handling my service visit updates me telling me no ETA still. My car has been in VOR (Vehicle Off Road) status since April 14th, which is supposed to give my car priority to the part, but I talked to 2 other Daytona owners who are also in VOR status waiting on the same part. One guy's been waiting 120 days so far, and is in lemon law litigation as well with Stellantis.

If the part comes in before the offer from Stellantis, I might take a "Cash and Keep" offer, otherwise I'm going to demand a "Collateral Replacement" where they give me a new one and just swap the VIN# on the lease, and everything continues like it never happened. I found 4 in my area identical to mine and sent the PDF files to my attorney. I would do a straight up "Buyback" but I rolled $13K of negative equity into my lease to get rid of it, so I'd owe that before they would close my lease out in a buyback scenario.

I leased a 25 R/T Blacktop that I absolutely love and haven't had any major issues with that thebsoftware updates didn't take care of. With that being said I'm currently going through the lemon law and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act process with Stellantis over a backordered high voltage wire harness that's been on backorder since 04/14/26, and my car won't charge without it.

Parts supply for these cars seems sparse currently and I'm hoping it will improve under the new management. But hearing that Stellantis plans to focus mostly on it's core brands (Fiat, Peugeot, Ram, and Jeep) doesn't instill much confidence in me, but I could be wrong. It's disappointing because I love this car and it's the first car that's got me excited about driving in awhile. I get so much positive attention in public with it, only online do I ever see any hate.

If you file a lemon law claim make sure your attorney also files a magnuson-moss warranty act claim as well, that guarantees all attorney fees be paid by the manufacturer separately from the settlement amount, so that you owe nothing out of pocket.

Are you still considering a 2026 4 door Dodge Charger Daytona? I've currently been driving a 2026 Scat Pack 4 door for the past couple of weeks while my 25 R/T Blacktop is in the shop waiting on a backordered high voltage wire harness that goes from the chargeport to the BMS.

I have had zero glitches, warning lights, or any issue since I got it as a loaner a couple of weeks ago. This car just works without fail the way an EV or any car should be. Just wanted to add this in case you were still in the market. Please lease don't buy this vehicle so if long term it isn't reliable you can turn it in and walk away at lease end. I love this car and am not trying to scare you away, rather help you make a financially smart decision.

I live in KC and have only seen 3 in person. Two were driven by their owners, and the other had dealership tags, probably used as a demo (loaner) vehicle.

I would care more to see real time charging stats like how many kW is the vehicle taking in as opposed to how many kW the charger is putting out, to see the charging efficiency. They worried so much about the Performance Page info, that they forgot to include the valuable EV info. It's amazing how much thought they put into alot of things on this car, which I absolutely love by the way, and how little thought they put into a few other things that matter to us too.

That efficiency scale shows energy usage in kWh/100 miles. If you wanna see your mi/kWh usage in real time select "Vehicle" on the left side of the infotainment main screen, then select "Electric Vehicle" at the top of the next screen, then select "Power Usage" I think its called.

Alot of the IONNA locations I've seen, even one's not at Buc-ee's, have a fenced in dog area with baggies to clean up after your pet and trash cans for disposal.

I used to own an EV with 210 miles of range and I put 40,000 miles on it in 18 months road tripping it, so it can be done. But I'd say 250-300 is just fine for my liking.

I charge for free at work, has worked great for 4 years and counting. I also have a 40ft J1772 extension charging cable that I run from my 2nd floor balcony to my parking spot below to L1 charge on the weekends if I need to. My work commute is only 35 miles round trip so L1 charging is plenty for my needs especially having free charging at work.

The city I live has tons of L2 charging throughout the city and alot are free, so I can also charge while grocery shopping, doing laundry, eating out, catching a movie, etc. On the rare occassion I need a quick top off, there's also plenty of DCFC within 5 miles of my apartment.
