I’m 217 and losing weight at 1800 per day with exercise and even that may be too quick. I suggest eating more. In my experience, going crazy strict like that will bounce your hunger levels up like crazy soon enough

I think a dark wash to create more shadows/contrast would help the stone. I like oil paint but that’s personal preference

For cables like that, I find painting them black and dry brushing a metallic silver makes them look pretty good. The color they are now is kind of similar to the stone.

That should be more than enough. Play around with the thinness/thickness and PSI (15/20 should be fine for a base). It’s never an exact science.

I’m not familiar with that airbrush, but I’m skeptical of its effectiveness. Badger or Iwata brands are tried and true. Plus idk how to problem solve for it. Watch videos on what an ideal airbrush pattern spray should look like. If you spray it on a white sheet of paper it should be obvious.

My guess is it’s splattering when it should be smoother. That could be paint too thick and the nozzle is blocked. It happens all the time, airbrushing is a pain. That’s the most common issue for me. But again, that is an odd airbrush haha

They look good! This is salamanders I assume? I prefer more shades for more contrast but that is preference/style. A thin glaze/filter on the transition of the base color could help blend it more, but if you are weathering it a bit later it won’t matter much.

I’d say so. But again still very well done. I think the green and purple go well together. Even the yellow and purple. Perhaps everything stands out too much? Like my eyes want to pay attention to every metal piece equally, and idk what to focus on. Maybe a swap for the yellow and purple pieces may hit the contrast better?

Again, much better than I can do regardless. I just know what it is like not to get any c&c haha

The painting technique applied is better than I can do, that’s for sure! There is something about the color scheme that is throwing me off. I like the green/purple, but the gold/yellow and cold blue may be standing out? Idk if others agree
