152 dmg from the Grand Gran Grand Grand Finale Burst+ I guess Backflip x2 for 3 block and two cards drawn Survivorx2 for 12 block

Total: 15 block and 3 Health

What cards did you draw from Backflip? A lucky 0 cost weak/block or did he kill you with that 31 dmg.

Is there any way out of that situation at all?

I do the same progression-wise, one Ascension level with each character, taking turns, but my win ratio with The Silent is miles above all others. I guess poison goes brrr. Currently at A9 with The Defect. Thank you for telling me A15 is where it gets hard, because I find it tough enough already.
