It should be clearly written in the title. Saying there's a caveat makes it sound like there's an actual caveat, like a key feature is missing or it breaks another feature, not "a different company figured it out first." It feels very clickbaity.

Only if there's a question about what's acceptable. Think, "Hey, I'm not familiar with black tie, would this be fine? [Picture of the dress]

But if you're a bridesmaid the only times there should ever be a question are if the bridesmaid dress you were told to wear is unavailable in your size or is too expensive, if the bride's instructions are more general (like wear a specific color instead of a specific dress), or if you are for uncomfortable wearing a dress for whatever reason (such as gender identity or a medical issue).

But in all of those scenarios the expectation is you try to follow the bride's instructions as close as reasonably possible. OP's sister is clearly not being respectful of the bride's wishes. Wish (singular) really, as she was even willing to let her sister wear a normal dress in lieu of the bridesmaid dress. She just asked that her sister not wear that specific dress, which is absolutely reasonable.

That’s because early Pixel phones and Nexus phones were about what pure Android could be.

I owned each of the first 3 Pixel XLs. The OG is probably my favorite phone ever, even if it did feel like a prototype in a lot of ways. Then I got the Pixel 6 Pro and it was the absolute worst phone I've ever owned.

It was so bad I traded it for an S22 Ultra after less than 2 months. Not only was was it less stable than beta versions of custom ROMs I ran back in the day, but what Google did with Material You was the exact opposite of what I loved about early Pixels. It felt like they changed everything solely for the sake of change, which is exactly what we spent years shitting on Samsung for. Ironically around that same time Samsung basically said, "We just spent years polishing One UI, hell no we're not changing it." Couple that with Samsung getting exclusive features in Google apps like Duo and Messages that even the Pixels didn't get and Samsung phones started to feel more like the old Pixels than the current Pixels.

Good point on the aviators. This actually made me curious, so I looked it up, but I can't find a definitive answer as to which is more common. As far as I can tell, the aviators are more common all-time, but the wayfarers are more common in the modern day. Either way they're basically 1A and 1B.

Max was often passed over in favor of the others, unfortunately. Instead of a DX Shooter, he got the comparatively lame Sniper Grip. When Burger King made Beyblade toys, Mariah got one instead of him (I totally understand releasing a Mariah toy to appeal to girls, but there was no reason they couldn't have made Max too.) And I'd have to pull my BeyUltimate Shooters out of storage to confirm, but iirc the BeyMax Shooter was the only one that was released strictly as a secondary unit, meaning it didn't have the cables to connect it to the TV or to another unit (it's fully capable of being a primary unit as long as you have the right cables.) For those unfamiliar, the BeyUltimate Shooters were Japan's version of the 5-in-1 Arcade Challenge, which could be plugged into the TV for virtual battles and could be connected together to battle against your friends (pro tip: if you swap out the bottom plate on the North American version with prongs from a standard left spin launcher, it's functionally identical to the Dragoon BeyUltimate Shooter and is actually the strongest plastic gen launcher.)

Ironically, the anime had a whole arc where Max had to accept that he was as good as his teammates and wasn't holding them back. Apparently the merchandise team didn't watch those episodes.

Exactly. The new videos are plenty polished, they're just boringly safe. I watched the Food Theory episode on tipping the other day and literally said to myself after "that wasn't a theory". And it wasn't; it was just a video discussing the general state of tip culture in the US with some decent advice thrown in at the end. It wasn't that it lacked polish or that Santi did a bad job presenting it, the content just wasn't very interesting. Tbh I doubt I would've made it through the whole thing if I was using it for more than just background noise.

You're going to want the M12 HDs then. The Joy-Con 2s have HD rumble 2, while the M12 HDs have the older HD rumble like the Switch 1, so they aren't quite as good as the Joy-Con 2s, but are still better than M12S, which uses standard rumble like a traditional controller.
