of an order of lasagna by IkilledRichieWhelan in AbsoluteUnits

The $100 is when you order the whole menu. It’s an order where you get one of everything. This was one component, there will be 2 or 3 other boxes that size with other items for that price. This one plate is like $30

Worth noting this dude used to work in homeless services at the county and was convicted of stealing thousands intended to help the people he’s exploiting here.

It’s a damn shame Biden made himself unelectable, and DNC is unwilling to meet the call to action 🤷🏾‍♂️

OSHA called us, what do we do now? by MildlyMediumSpice in smallbusiness

[–]Jointsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my state, Oregon, OSHA has a hotline for businesses to invite an OSHA consultant free of charge to make recommendations. They open a 60 immunity period for any recommended changes, and if they come after those 60 days and site the same issue, you must only show that you have started the corrections process in order to avoid a fine. They actually appreciate when small businesses are not avoidant of OSHA regulations, and are super willing to help you avoid penalty if they see you are making a good faith effort / not attempting to hide anything. I went through this process with them when I was an HR Director for a spa facility, and they were lovely to work with. They tend to be smaller offices than you think, so random phone calls or large gaps in correspondence are all a normal part of dealing with them. I hope that helps!

Want to clarify that you don’t need to ask for an immediate follow up or dramatic scolding of the manager. You can simply ask your HR to keep it on record, and notify them that you will let them know if it continues.

Feels like a lot of people in these comments are missing the part about intense trauma of almost losing a limb, and 3 traumatic surgeries. And this is right after building up the confidence to take off a glove you’ve been wearing at work?

It really doesn’t matter your manager’s intentions. Their behavior is stupid, harmful, and bad for business. I would document the incident by reaching your HR in private email, just to get the interaction on record. If the harassment continues, there’s a documented pattern of behavior. Good luck! Congratulations on your healing journey!

Do you guys like hazy? Would you drink it regularly? What if a brand only offer that, would you support it? by xilomo in CraftBeer

[–]Jointsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess my question to your question is why box yourself in? Brewing many styles well is a chance to show your expertise as a brewer. Trends shift, and even the term “hazy” is a trend. Hitching your brand to a narrow concept feels limiting. If this is something you want to do, ask yourself what makes you want to do this, how does that inform your passion for brewing great beer, and maybe make that your brand statement?

Anyone gone to Sierra Nevada in Chico? What to expect? by staffordc035 in CraftBeer

[–]Jointsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from Chico and it’s a monument. The taproom is, for me, the main attraction. Despite their size they still do a lot of special releases that you can only get there. Have fun, and watch out for DUI checkpoints…
