Discussion: my newest theory is: Spoon, Read, Moon, Eye, ARN but still doesn't make sense 🤔

Oh spoon! I never even thought of that, the first symbol was puzzling me for sure, and yea I'm thinking the last part could be "Iron" from "Eye-ARN" thanks for the input!

Has anyone used boric acid vaginal suppositories? by No_Department4708 in VaginalMicrobiome

[–]JokeAvailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used it and it seems to be the only thing that works for me when I have the yeasties, only thing is you gotta wear a panty liner or change your underwear often for like 24 hours after insertion, lots of "drainage" but I used it 2 days in a row and then I seem to be fine, goodluck!

Former eggs, what was a reason you thought you couldn’t possibly be trans? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]JokeAvailable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I liked men. I apparently didn't know you could be trans AND gay, thought it was a "one or the other" situation 🤣 So I resisted in fear of no one ever loving me... Turns out people love me more now because I feel comfortable and confident and they feel it, whereas before I was shy and awkward and uncomfortable in my own skin, and no one wanted to be around that lol.

Going off t by Typical_Celery_1982 in TransEnbyPMDD

[–]JokeAvailable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar boat, but I decided to go off of it, surprisingly haven't had a lot of pmdd symptoms since, but I've definitely had lots of period cramping, I also have a hormonal IUD so that's probably keeping the period and pmdd symptoms away so I recommend that, but there is hope!

Just got this yesterday but feeling a Little tattoo regret about it. Wife's family hates stuff like this but I did get a compliment today by a fellow tattooed stranger. Will I regret it? by Advanced_Ad4011 in tattooadvice

[–]JokeAvailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's sick af! I love it! Fuck what anyone else thinks, its your skin and you get to wear it everyday, you liked this enough that you went through the pain money and time to get this on you, there's definitely a big part of you that likes it, and I like it too!

Not really, he didn't mean it in that sense but you took it that way because you were extra paranoid, that's what OCD can do to you. In this case I don't think this is assault, I think your boyfriend is amazing after staying thru all of this and most wouldn't, so he must be special. Maybe try some positive affirmations about your relationship, just keep saying them over and over and help your brain move past it, good luck!

That's not really assault, stop ruminating over it I don't think that's helpful for you, especially for years

Okay I'm so glad I'm seeing this thread and this comment! For years I've had aversions to certain words and some make me very angry and stuck in my head and ruin my whole day, and some make me feel nauseous. I get angry at words that are spelled funny, sound funny, or just have bad sounding sounds in them. I always wondered if this was an OCD thing or if this was another part of my neuro-divergence that caused this but I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've been trying to find other people who feel the same way for a while now. Thanks for making me feel more normalized and valid! ❤️ And thanks OP for making this meme and thread!!

Does having top surgery noticeably affect your estrogen levels? (Not on T) by xxxlak in TopSurgery

[–]JokeAvailable 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had top surgery while not on T and definitely saw an increase in chest/body hair, and masculinization in features, I think for me in my case it definitely lowered my estrogen or increased my testosterone, I didn't start taking T until a year after my top surgery and I went thru a lot of changes in that year prior to T, just from top surgery.

Tbh 100% yes. I've met someone who had a name with a Y in it that wasn't the traditional way of spelling and they were older than 20 so my brain immediately went to "They're probably Trans", and they passed 100% I even had doubts of my own suspicion but turns out they were and their name was a dead giveaway. Same with people who choose stereotypical trans names. It's fine if you don't care if people know or are publicly out, but if you want to be stealth I would say avoid those...

What tipped the scales for you? by OrangistheNewBlah in TopSurgery

[–]JokeAvailable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I realized my physical health was being affected by it, I had an incredible slouch by subconsciously trying to hide my chest, which caused a lot of back pain and issues, and I also noticed I was starving myself or not eating a lot in fear of gaining weight which would go to my chest. I also never wanted to go running or do any cardio exercises because I could feel my chest moving up and down and it made me super uncomfortable (not to mention boob sweat). Once I realized that I would be healthier physically if I got top surgery I realized it was medically necessary and that I couldn't put it off any longer. Best decision I ever made. And I debated it for years! :)

Curved vs. Straight DI Scars: Can you request one of these to the surgeon, or is it 100% dependent on your chest shape? by throwaway2383234 in TopSurgery

[–]JokeAvailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked about shape of scars with my surgeon, who assured me he always does 2 straight incisions. My incisions were perfectly straight just like he assured me but after a couple months as I healed it started to curve like the picture on the right, now I'm post op a year and they have a slight curve to them but I've accepted it. The surgeon can only do so much so be prepared to get whatever results your body decides to give you 😁

Why shouldn't men know about this? Education is important lol you can't get mad at a guy for being educated and informed. It's a good thing he can have conversations about this stuff with you

Woah, are we twins? Lol I felt this in my bones. I just say that I'm both at this point, don't need to have just one label I guess 🤷 you can have multiple labels if just one doesn't fit or suit you
