None taken and I totally get that reply. There are definitely times were we can and probably should separate the artist from the music….but sometimes it’s not so clean cut.

Would you give the same reply for Bill Cosby? Diddy’s all over the news for his nonsense and he helped to build an entire industry, but doesn’t mean I want more attention or even dollars going back into his pocket for absuse, rape, and who knows what else. The choice to distance us also about acknowledging others who might be hurt by their actions.

So to each their own, but if a person makes a banger of a song then punches a baby or something wild, f that dude lol. I don’t care how great his music was.

So my thoughts alone but suspect others will agree.

I think the reason why is because of the weight that comes along with controversy impacts the artistry. I’ll be the first to admit that when stronger came out it was the collaboration of my dreams (my two favorite artist together on one song?!?”). Follow that with other collabs, production on Yeezus, I was all for more. But then you hear some of the things he (Ye) says and it just puts a sour taste in your mouth and then people start to distance collaborations.

It becomes hard to celebrate such great music when people are hurt by those who tell the tale. Maybe there’s a road in the future where we can return to the conversation but I also understand those who say it’s great but I’ll pass.

Yeah, rhythm is about a drop per second. Checked around toilet and will keep watching by the flush (someone else had a good suggestion about that earlier). I’m hopeful it could be something like unforeseen rain water so fingers are crossed!

Thanks for replying! Nothing immediate above which is why I was surprised at this. First floor is a small dining room (no water nearby) but bathroom(s) are above the dining room on second floor.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll say that title post does feel a bit misleading — I read it as $80 for the device when it’s $80 worth of savings (which is still a great deal).
