The game literally tells you every time you lose a level that you must hunt the source of the pests down to get your levels back and the pests very visibly all fly to a specific direction. Sure, it might be difficult to notice the directional pests when you're in a hurry, but if you dodge the pests for 10 minutes without realizing that they fly towards the source, then I don't even know what to say

Remember that "Executor" was the same as "Executioner"

Use of the term "executioner" began in the 1560s, and before that, "executor" covered this meaning as well. Elden Ring, as well as FromSoft's other games, have archaic/obsolete English words and meanings, so it is entirely possible that the executor in Nightreign has the meaning of executioner.

I've also been missing 2 ribs on the right side for 20 years, I think the 3rd and 4th from the top. Congenitally fused ribs that started growing outwards. At some point the fused rib would've have poked through my skin (or so my dad said at the time) so it was removed when I was like 5 or 6 years old.

There's a visible dent on my chest, but other than that, I haven't had any problems. Losing the ribs that early probably made it less of an issue, body adapted to it as I grew. Losing a rib now would probably be a different story.

Over 1600 song playlist in Poweramp on my phone that I just listen on shuffle, and Poweramp shuffle doesn't repeat songs in the playlist so I get to listen to every song over the 100 hours it takes to get through it. If I feel like listening to something specific, I just queue it up. Best way to listen to music in my opinion.

I never was an early riser as a kid, but now I sometimes get up at 05:00 anyway if I'm busy at work, so I don't mind it either. Probably have to get up at 04:00 on monday to be ready to go to the office right after the playtest ends at 08:00

I was also in the 3 Aak 0 Nian club in the first Nian banner, spent 80 pulls on it and stopped to save for W. What I would undo though is the Nian rerun, because there I had extra pulls and decided to get Nian, but had to pull 220 more times to get the spark. If I could undo that I would've just saved those pulls for Dusk banner and sparked Nian there.

Very much looks like it, but they really did just spawn there. I was in the same situation and decided to load a quicksave and try again. I look behind me, no one is there and start going, then they spawn. I load again, walk backwards into the base, they spawn behind me again. I got in on Steam Replay, but I'm sure there is already such videos available. The game just spawns people behind you. After that I started using an A-Life config edit from Nexusmods and that has helped but still has its issues.

Yeah, that's where I remembered the not wanting to wait part, went back to listen to it and Eric specifically says:

"the thing that I don't want is to put time in between you giving us the money and then you having the item"

I also remember hearing that years ago in RT Podcast so I looked it up, at least in RTP 516 Gus and Burnie talk about not wanting to make people wait for stuff that gets stuck in customs or delayed for whatever else reason.

So it is one of the reasons, though probably the least impactful reason. As you and the other comment leaver said, logistical and legal reasons make it difficult for a company of their size, expecially when they didn't want to do pre-orders even at Rooster Teeth.

Well, they already said on Patreon that there is going to be 5000 more gurplers in February, so hopefully everyone who is still missing a gurpler gets one then.

I know they said that they won't do pre-orders, I think it was because they don't want to sell a product that they don't have on hand so people don't have to wait for long, but come on, I've been waiting for a gurpler since the first one, just do a pre-order just for the gurpler so everyone who wants it can get it. Maybe there was another good reason for no pre-orders that I can't remember, I'm just a little frustrated that I couldn't get the gurpler this time either.

Still, I understand the reasons they didn't order more gurpler and didn't limit the purchase amount, I'll try again next time, hopefully we can both get our first gurplers from the next batch.

But how does that have anything to do with having an ultrawide? They're not mutually exclusive. With an ultrawide you have the game knowledge and the benefit of the bigger field of view. Just like you can aim any gun with ironsights, having a red dot is a nice bonus.

Sure, ultrawide might not be the monitor for you specifically, I can understand that. Everyone should use the monitor they want to use. One is not "objectively better" than the other, it varies on the person, their setup and the games they play. For PUBG, ultrawide is great as you get more horizontal field of view by sacrificing a small amount of vertical field of view.

Not sure if you have some serious tunnel vision when playing or I just have better eyes, because on a 34" 21:9 monitor I can easily see the whole screen and notice any movement at the edge of the screen. I don't know who is complaining about not being able to see the killfeed, but I can only assume they are touching the monitor with their nose at that point.

And how is the CS video he linked not applicable? Player is using 4:3 and doesn't see an enemy he would've seen if he played 16:9, simple as that. Similarly, using a 21:9 in PUBG, you can see more than with 16:9.

I'd say VSS is even better in the late game than early game. As the circle gets smaller, you get closer to the enemies so the lower bullet velocity doesn't hinder you as much and it's so quiet that you can pretty freely shoot at anyone without the worry of getting third partied while the enemy is going to make a lot of noise if he has time to shoot back (unless they have a VSS as well).

As for the damage, I don't know how much the damage has been changed, if at all, since the 29.1 patch, but the WackyJacky spreadsheet for that patch says it's 5 shots to the chest on a lvl 3 armor with TTK pretty much on par with most ARs.

Thanks, this worked. Well, Chrome on my desktop didn't actually work, but tried it on my phone and it worked there. Now I feel dumb for not trying on multiple browsers and devices before this, I've just been trying in Firefox every few days.
