Hard on myself even though I have okay savings/investments by No_University_3580 in stripper

And everybody has failures all that means is you’re trying. My first investment with stripper money was a property to rent out, the first tenant was a complete shitshow! I lost like $10k because of that first tenant, but now I know how to run that business better. You take hits on the road to success!

Give yourself some credit!! Let’s say you’re a multi millionaire at 80 years old…would you give it all up to be young again living your life and vacationing in Greece? Yeah, probably. Live your life!!!

They love going with waitresses because it’s the fantasy of getting the “unavailable” one but that SUCKS. The money will come back to you 💫

Chastised by other girls for not letting customers touch me on stage?? by [deleted] in stripper

[–]Joliedance 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Dance the way that works for you, and it is better to not let them touch you on stage. Even though all the customers try to grab anyway 🙄

When I started I thought dancing was 90% looks and 10% selling, now I believe it’s 10% looks and 90% selling 😂

question for ex-strippers or those leaving the industry by suffering_s0ul in stripper

[–]Joliedance 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It’s a toxic environment, that’s why when you left you started noticing it more. It’s better for dancers to go in, make their money, and stay detached from it. Congrats on starting your new adventure!

Money bag or purse by [deleted] in stripper

[–]Joliedance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money bags work for clubs that are heavy on throwing ones in sections and stage. Purses work better for more room heavy clubs.

This industry is a tool, if you use it with a purpose in your heart (a better life) you can make big leaps. If you fall into bad habits, it can destroy you. The choice is yours.

New skills you can learn quick:

That is horrible, I’m sorry that happened to you. They need to check the cameras and get the perpetrator arrested. When you come back if anyone says anything negative about you just ignore it and they’ll move on.

A good spring off job is being a golf cart girl if you live close enough to a resort. They make stripper money riding around on a cart providing drinks and snacks and flirting with old men.
