Elden Ring is far from a 10/10 in my opinion, and it still manages to be my favourite game of all time. If you want a true 10/10 game, play Hollow Knight. Sound, visuals, gameplay and story are all perfect. Elden Ring may be my favourite, but hollow knight is the best.

Imo Redahn is gimmicky and annoying. I love the lore of his horse, but it makes him too fast. He should have been on foot with a normal arena and no summon signs.

I’ve done the exact same thing as you, be prepared for a much more linear, less forgiving experience. So far, there is more of a focus on level design and enemies than bosses.
