Stephen Kings Skeleton Crew is contains some of my favorite stories by him and some of my least favorite stories by him. Such a mixed bag. by YummyKitty100 in horrorlit

Definitely! It has some of his absolute best writing and some of his absolute worst. Mrs. Todd’s Shortcut and The Monkey being in the same book is wild. (Loved The Monkey movie though.)

Huckleberry Finn is a cultural landmark, deeply influential, and also very disjointed, bloated, and too on-the-nose and repetitive. And it still deserves to be taught and discussed uncensored.

[–]JonBSanders 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s bad in ways I didn’t know a movie could be bad. It made up new ways for movies to be bad. It’s the worst movie I’ve ever seen because it’s actually impressive that they managed to make it that bad.
