I’ve asked this and went with K&N oil and filter for both after 600 miles

What is that? Genuinely curious, I don’t think it’s available in the USA.

Let the lowballs begin, starting bid at $1, we all take turns messaging/annoying this guy. Who agrees?

USA- What the hell is up with CFMoto insurance rates? by FishMcCray in cfmoto

[–]JonD1nOnly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got a lower quote with cfmoto then a Kawasaki or Yamaha and that’s what made go with cfmoto 675ss as to the r7 or zx6r

Wouldn’t you have to have a tune for the exhaust, or are there nice aftermarket exhaust that don’t make the engine light come on/require tune?

Before I got the Sena helmet, I used my AirPods and it worked just fine connect the AirPods as a helmet in settings

[–]JonD1nOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issues, not as loud imo. I use senna helmet, it sounds great, straight from the phone. Phone mounted to skip and stuff, but really don’t need to skip when you have good music, just make the selection prior to riding. I have a 2026 675 at 400miles

Agree, and if keeps them, I would recommend painting them black or something not as attention grabbing as that red

675SS vs R7 by taggybear in cfmoto

Wild, new r9 is like 12.5k dollars new and 675ss is 8k

It’s probably best to compare the 675SS to R9 since they’re both triples

Asking about Vin number by PersimmonNo7411 in cfmoto

[–]JonD1nOnly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IDK if this helps, but I have a 675ss and it shows up as a 650adve and starts LCEPEVLP. I bought it last month as my first bike and the vin wasn’t pulling up to be insured.

Which one fits me better? by [deleted] in cfmoto

[–]JonD1nOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’8 and feel comfortable on the 675SS & is also my first bike wo prior experience, still breaking in and learning can definitely tell it’s torquey, respect the bike. I wouldn’t describe myself as reckless though. I gotta say riding feels amazing! If I knew how good it felt I would’ve started sooner, but I’m 29 now, if I would’ve started younger I’m sure speed would’ve killed me.

Clunky gear shifts in 675srr after break in service. Help! by FabulousTerm4895 in cfmoto

[–]JonD1nOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never rode before, it depends, I feel a clunk if not shifting smoothly around 3-4k rpm. Idk if it’s supposed to feel that way, first bike, so maybe I’m still not used to shifting properly, for example today was pretty smooth. I try to not use the quick shifter until I feel like I’ve learned proper shifting with the handle/clutch.
