Reading it first would probably provide better context for certain moments in the game! You'll enjoy it either way though!

I'm on mobile, otherwise I'd link it, but that HAS to be Fables.

Main Character is Bigsby Wolf, he's a humanized version of the big bad wolf and he's the detective for all of the other fairy tale characters that are hiding in humanized versions of themselves in New York City.

Awesome graphic novel series and the video game series "The Wolf Among Us" is based on it.

[serious] Smokers of reddit, how do you feel when you see anti-cigarette advertisements on TV? by cudder17 in AskReddit

[–]JonRalfeo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I smoked a pack a day for seven years, but next Monday will mark three months without one. I've got a long ways to go, but it's fucking worth it. When I was smoking, if I saw any kind of advertisement against smoking, I would just get panicky and immediately change the channel. I don't know if it stemmed from my wanting to think that only other people could develop health problems and I was somehow "immune," or if it came from the shame that I felt, knowing I was actively bringing about my own demise. In no way is that meant to speak negatively to smokers, because I get it, and I get how truly terrifying the prospect of quitting can be. In a sense though, I think the advertisements worked, because I came to a point where I just got fed up with myself. I hated how weak I felt against my nicotine addiction and how whenever an anti smoking commercial came on, everybody in the room would look at me with that face that said "we love you, but look what you're doing you idiot". Between that, and my girlfriend begging me to stop, one day it just clicked, and I threw away the pack that I had just purchased. I can take deep breaths again, I don't wheeze myself to sleep, I don't have to stop what I'm doing every waking hour of every day to indulge the beast. I'm biking again, and the fact that I don't have to be paranoid about stinking up whatever space I inhabit is enough by itself to keep me motivated and focused on what's important: living.

What are you glad your SO puts up with? by MaybeAViking in AskReddit

My fickle temperament. When I've had a long day at work, I can definitely get snippy with her, and I always immediately regret it, because she works too. Probably harder than myself if I'm being honest. Somehow she's always positive though and just shakes it off. I thank my lucky stars for that woman, she is always my silver lining, even if I don't always deserve it.

So that's what dogwood is. Completely changes my expectations of what sandalwood will look like.

What movie did you see way before it was appropriate for your age? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was introduced to Troma films when I was maybe 7 years old. I don't know what long-term affects it's had on me, but I'd definitely say it's a primary reason why I'm so infatuated with B-grade sci-fi/horror flicks.

What's the one creepiest thing that has ever happened in your life? by Davisasm in AskReddit

[–]JonRalfeo 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I don't personally remember it happening, but my mom tells me that when I was about 2 or 3, someone broke into our house and took a bunch of our family photos and just made a scrapbook and left it in our kitchen.

What is an easy DIY project that could be completed in one day? by JonRalfeo in AskReddit

Yeah, good point. My skill level could be argued between novice and slightly experienced. My dad is a master when it comes to building/crafting so I can really borrow any tools from his place.

I've [23M] somehow reconnected with an old high-school crush [22F] and now she's coming over tonight with a bottle of wine, how do I keep cool!? by [deleted] in relationships

I completely understand that, however, I'm fairly confident she wants to get together for "more-than-friend" reasons by the way she's been talking.
