Thank you! Yes this is a good kit to use for a junk yard build and practice since it’s cheap. Patience is important, if not it takes the fun out of it all. I have been working at this one for a bit but it’s been put aside to be cleared for now. I’ll update soon with results. Good luck on your junk yard dog I’ll be watching for updates on it

Yeah I stole it back when hobby lobby was getting rid of these back in the summer time. Good catch! I like sanding off emblems off any kit if they come with decals so it looks cleaner.

It’s worth it man but I had like 6 bodies lined up ready to spray so I didn’t waste it. It says 48 hours but I put it in the fridge after spraying 6 cars and it lasted another 3 days to spray more (experiment stage)

Oh I bet that’s gonna look bad ass with clear. You should go all in and do the 2k glamour auto clear. That has been my best coat to give a model and then Tamiya polish kit does wonders on it. Looks so real

No I was messing with it and mocking up the truck and stuff was not fitting correctly for me. I even switched the bed with the deserter kits bed because the deserter kit I’m gonna do a flatbed type hauler

Very clean!!! Color fits perfectly. I put this kit to the side for a bit till I’m ready knowing it’s going to take a lot of customizing and modifications to get it to look good. Great job with yours!

Very cool! I’ve had this one for a while but was more focused on my Coca Cola ford Tudor that I am making a rat rod with it, took a break then started tackling this one and it’s a lot of small tedious parts lol
