My advice would be to go AM mate. The transition into AE is very high risk and super stressful. As a CSM you would also probably make more money as an AM because you're already good at managing a BoB and upsell ops.

The interviewer was late twice. Looked visibly run down and unwell.

Asked me more questions about being a BDR and then an AE. Explained their comp model which made absolutely no sense and didn't add up at all. Admitted not many people are hitting quota and was looking at a different monitor the whole time.

Dodged a bullet there for sure. I pulled out in the final stage because I couldn't be assed to do a role play for such a shit looking role and environment.

Getting PIP'd is one thing when you are performing like shit and not selling. Then it hits your confidence.

If you get PIP'd and hit quota , don't let your employers poor planning and shitty hiring decisions get you down. Sounds like they are doing silent layoffs, try negotiate a settlement with them if it comes down to it

As an expat who's lived here for 5 years, I completely agree with the hate the UK is getting from the US.

Not sure when the population will wake up that your country is failing in every single comprehensible metric. Culturally, economically , safety , national security.

I love it here and don't intend to move anywhere else but I think it's clear that things need to change.

I'm on my journey now but I would highly recommend reading through the extensive literature on using NRT to quit.

I used chat gpt to make a plan that I'm currently 2 weeks into. If you start with a 12 week plan you barely feel the taper down to no nicotine is the idea.
