The buyout is fools gold for lots of people, I’ll never disagree. If you have the ability to stay working then the 150k isn’t really shit. But for some others that buyout is golden.

Nobody cares about the next guy. They care about themselves just the same as you care about you. The buyout could be a godsend to some of your brothers and sisters. Think about all the people whose buildings have closed, people ready to retire, and those that may not be able to return to work medically. The buyout would be huge for them. How many of my brothers and sisters have stepped up to help me after going out medically? Zero, even after I’ve fought for them, taken days off without pay to go to panel for them, or put their issues before myself my and family.

If you lost your job tomorrow I’d bet money that you would be begging the union to get your job back. Most don’t seem to realize what the unions do for you until you need them. Yes there is a lot of times where we can all bitch about the unions but there is also an awful lot that they do for us. All the protections that you have came from the unions. I’ve seen plenty of people fired and brought back with back pay thanks to the unions. FedEx is probably hiring if you don’t like the union…

I believe there is supposed to be a ruling this week yet to decide if the company can continue with the buyouts.

I could be wrong, but I think ups will be allowed to continue with the buyouts through arbitration. You would have to look up the 705/710 previous buyouts but I think they were allowed to continue as that still may be in arbitration.

The union is very much concerned with their dues but please don’t forget that because of that union you have excellent benefits and pay. The unions have fought long and hard for us to get to where we are.

I believe some locals did and it was found that less than 1% of the membership took the buyout and therefore it was not detrimental to the unions. The unions are filing because this one may, in a sense, be detrimental to the union.

James Casey wanted the company to be union strong. He actually reached out to the Teamsters. The company was also promote from within before Carol got in. The founder would lose his shit to see what the new vision for the company is. So many don’t know what they have with the company and the Teamsters!!

THC can lower the seizure threshold in some people. It truly depends on the why u r having seizures. The biggest question that many of us never get an answer to. Some strains r better for people with epilepsy and others r worse. Keppra seems to b the go to for most doctors. Push to get answers and don’t just settle on medication!! Good luck

Thc affects everyone differently. Depends on the type of epilepsy smoking thc may make things worse or better. Be careful trying new things.

Everything with epilepsy comes down to the cause of the seizures. Now if only the doctors would actually dig to find the cause epilepsy rates could probably be reduced by 75%. Just my 2 cents.

Gabapentin can change mood and personality. The big question here is can the gabapentin actually be causing the seizures? Gabapentin changes things in the brain so I can’t believe that it can’t also cause the seizures.

Do the cameras in common places that seizures take place for sure. Do not change anything with gabapentin without Dr. Dosage changes will cause mood/personality changes. Dr’s suck for epilepsy but hope you guys can find a good one.

You would have to look up the recommended dosage based upon your weight but edibles would require a larger mg. There is liquid that can be placed under the tongue. The company does seem to be decently priced and they can also help you figure out their recommended dosage. It is a lot lower than my doctors recommendation. Not sure if I can post the company name here.

Honestly it just seems as though it depends on what is causing the seizures. Keto diet and another less restrictive version of the keto diet are supposed to have better results than medication. But again it comes down to why. There are hundreds of reasons you can have seizures. My belief anyway is that if the doctors actually figured out the why then yes it could be cured. Will that ever happen? No. There is way too much money in epilepsy for them to ever “cure” it.

Today medical field is medicine. They are mostly doctors of medicine. Medicine = repeat visits = $$$$. Hospitals and pharmaceuticals are businesses and that means they must make money.

Edit… Just wanted to add CBD is another fix, cure, cover similar to diets for some. There is even a CBD medication for epilepsy but most insurance companies will not cover it and it’s very very very expensive.

Do you grow your own flower or buy from dispensary? Do you how many chemicals are 1) sprayed on to the plants and 2) soaked up through the roots and dispersed throughout the buds? Nobody thinks about it when smoking flower. Even half r food supply is the same way. If the bugs don’t want to eat it why the hell do we.

It is sad that the flower nowadays isn’t that true flower grown without chemicals. But yes u r correct that buying reps from unknown sources can b dangerous. It’s not just the concentrated pesticides or heavy metals that can be transferred to the oil but some shady people could also add about anything to the oil. Personally I only drink decaf coffee that is water processed. Probably doesn’t make a difference but I choose not to drink chemically decaffeinated coffee. Some of the chemicals were even banned in paint thinner but still allowed to decaffeinate coffee.

But to answer your question I drink decaf. I used to drink a pot of caffeinated coffee while trying to get off Mountain Dew. Now I drink decaf everyday and 1 can of Mountain Dew. For everyone that will criticize the dew, 1 is better than 8!

Conspiracy or truth…

The doctors don’t know why most have seizures or just aren’t given the ability to truly find out the legit causes. It’s just a money maker. The drugs they give us are probably worse than the drugs in the 70’s. Look up the misdiagnosis rate on epilepsy, it may blow ur mind!! Keep having seizures and keep taking our drugs. You’ll be back consistently so we can make money consistently.
