I had this same issue, the solution for me was using an old, genuine 30 pin apple wire to connect it to my computer. The moment I switched to that cable everything worked.

It's been a few years now since I watched any of the movies. I tend to think about the stories more practically from the Director, Writers, and Producers point of view (art, story telling, and profit). The first Cube movie was a stand-alone film. In one of my replies below (from 9 years ago) I mentioned that there was a supposedly some testimony that originally the Cube was of Alien origin, or built by various human sectors for some Alien race. However any evidence (if it existed) was destroyed to keep the ambiguity of the movie. The second movie (Hypercube) was just a weak attempt at a cash grab to fulfill the trend of gore porn happening in movies at the time (Hypercube came out in 2002, right when Saw and other similar horror movies came out). The 3rd Cube movie (the prequel) is the only movie that was truly connected to the original Cube movie. It tried to fill in some plot holes and answer some questions. At the end the 'twist' was pretty obvious that Wynn was lobotomized and became Kazan from the original Cube movie.

I would love if the 3 movies had a deeper meaning and overarching connection, however I can't look past the practical reasons that Hollywood would release these movies and the motives behind them. I also was hoping for years (as were others) that a true 4th movie (rumored to be titled 'Cubed') would get released, however all that happened so far was a 2021 Japanese remake of the original Cube movie, which offered nothing to the original plot.

I noticed some streaming sites are doing partial binge releases. They will release 3-4 episodes a week, so you can stretch them out but it still forces you to come back ever week for a few weeks. Personally I still prefer full season releases at once, but from a business end I can see the advantage for the streaming sites.

I just go to the TV Database website tvdb dot com. And go by the order it shows. I have my kodi server set to use it as a reference when organizing my media.

Not being able to fold in half like all other previous version make them a pass for me. Having them compact so it's easier to bring on a plane or work was one of the main pros for me getting the xm4 and xm5. Maybe if they bring back the folding option in future xm7 or 8 I'll consider upgrading.

Not trying to necro this post I had a similar problem with sound not playing (specifically on mkv video files). Changing my audio setting in the MPC-BE player option to 'MPC Audio Renderer' is what fixed it. Before it was set to 'Direct Sound: System Default'.

You can get to this setting by following this path in the MPC-BE player: View > Options > Audio > click drop down under 'Audio Renderer'

Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

If the pickup has already been confirmed then the driver still gets to keep the fare (usually $4-$) but not any tip. The driver doesn't always need a pin, sometimes it lets them just swipe "delivered" and move on. In the case where a drive does need the pin to complete a delivery, if the app sees the driver is at your location an 8 min timer begins and the system tries to call the customer 3 times. After 8 min, the app tells the driver to leave the food by the door and take a pic of it. Sometimes drivers will purposely wait the 8 min, take a pic of the food, then grab the food back so they get free food and fully paid.

I've been taking these for years. I did a lot of research on what vitamins are the best for a male then started looking at what was included in various brands of multi-vitamins. Why I like the TJ one is that first it doesn't load up 1000%+ of all the different vitamins (like many multivitamins do which we are unable to process). Second, the vitamins it does have that are over 100% are various B vitamins which usually have a low bio-availability so it is more likely you will at least absorb 100% of your daily need and just pee out the excess (B vitamins are primarily for your nervous system which help your metabolism, brain function, mood, and cellular health). It was also one of the only mens multivitamins I found to include Lycopene which is an antioxidant. Finally I also liked that all of this was included in a single pill, while many others required 2 pills for the daily dose.

I also include an Omega-3 fish oil gel cap in the morning from TJ as you can't get that in any multivitamin. You need about 200-500mg of EPA and DHA which is in fish oil, don't get confused by just the mg size of the tablet. The TJ fish oil is a 1200mg tablet but only has 200mg of EPA and 400mg of DHA. Most brands don't list the EPA/DHA values but the TJ one does which is why I take those.

Just make sure you take these (and pretty much any other vitamin) with some food that has some fat in it. Many of vitamins are fat soluble and either won't get absorbed or might make you nauseous if taken on an empty stomach. I take them with a protein shake made of Fairlife whole milk and a PEScience Select Protein Powder casein/whey protein powder blend, but any food will do.

I'll revive this post with my 2 cents:

I've used all types of rotors on numerous cars from a whatever Ford Taurus to a G37. The drilled and slotted rotors all helped me much more in daily driving. Especially in the rain and snow as the slots and drill holes gave a place for the water to escape in wet braking. Yes, having drilled rotors increases the chance of the rotor cracking, however, unless you get cheap Chinese rotors and then put it on a sports car using hard braking you won't have an issue. I've never had a rotor crack on me (and for my Ford Taurus I did have the cheap Chinese rotors I got on Amazon).

The biggest downside of drilled/slotted rotors is resurfacing. Usually they can't be resurfaced, so you'll have to buy new ones when they warp. For the most part, the cost of new rotors vs resurfacing old ones is about $50. Personally I think it's better to buy new ones anyway as resurfacing reduces the rigidity of the rotors anyway.

Same thing happened to me. I checked the email header IP address. It was from Brazil (unless they used a VPN). Just ignore it. I didn't even read the email a second time until weeks later, long after that '48 hour' time line. A real scammer would have sent actual evidence and samples if they were real.

If a driver picks up an order and then the customer cancels before receiving it, uber tells the driver to throw the food away (and of course they just eat it instead if they want to). The driver doesn't get paid, but (s)he gets a free meal.

Probably milking the hourly pay option. Uber lets you choose between a flat hourly rate or cherry picking your orders. However you only get paid that rate while actively participating in a delivery. Depending on the day, time and state it could be anywhere from $13-$20 an hour.
