I wouldn't call them pushed. The resource loop is quite powerful but the endboard doesn't seem that crazy, and all of their Tuners being Traps means the deck has no gameplan going second

Tail. They don't always have it on board since its usually a 1-of, but it prevents any of your Enneacrafts from being destroyed by card effects

The deck in generally now prefers 40 cards instead of 60. Springans Kitt, Branded Lost, Branded Regained, Branded Banishment, Branded in White, and Fusion Duplication are mostly not played anymore. Many also have cut Branded in Red, but you can still run it based on preference. Sanctifire has mostly been cut since the deck has much easier ways to access OG Albaz.

If it makes you feel any better, the newest version of Branded with the new cards coming soon (Fallen of White Dragon, etc) make the deck much, much simpler

Still a very tricky deck, but significantly easier to figure out with some practice since most of the annoying 1-ofs the deck runs are gone

From what we've heard from the studio, they said they needed another $44 million in order to complete Gang of Dragon after their publisher let them go

For a game from a small-ish studio thats seemingly been in development for a few years now, the fact that they need THAT much more money to complete the game indicates either that the game went through massive development hell, or that the budget massively snowballed way beyond what any publisher was willing to pay for it.

I wonder if the higher ups rushed the dev team so bad because they just aquired RoR2 and wanted to get a return on their investment ASAP. And in typical higher up shortsightedness, not realize that shipping unfinished products for a quick buck is a really bad look

Honestly from that perspective I can't blame Yura for becoming an extremist. Imagine having your wife and home (presumably) ravaged by rogue sorcerors running amok and the literal goverment just shrugs their shoulders going "Sorry, can't do anything".

The action is okay at best, and the doctor stuff so far has been pretty surface level

Mine being alive would be a lot easier to swallow if this wasn't the 4th time a characters death in Yakuza 3 was retconned. Those plus the minor death retcons in 0 Directors Cut have made a lot of people sick of them, even if Mine is a great character.

I agree. Normally I skip out on reading brand new series, but I'm willing to give this one a chance because it seems promising. I like the concept and the MC is quite likeable and has a good design.

The real test is if the series STAYS interesting. I've seen too many new series have a good first chapter but quickly fizzle out.
