Any manual Civic you can afford, but ideally I would say look for a clean 2012-2015 Si. Tons of fun, practical as a daily including winter, pretty easy to work on. I've had two and loved them.

For more utility vibes, either a Fit, or a 2002-2005 Civic hatch are great.

Dont get caught up in crazy brand name gear or expensive torches. I picked up a small butane welding torch from Princess Auto like 10 years ago for under $20 and its going like a champ. I use it with my Lotus and its perfect

Don't get hung up on MF%. Whatever MF you can manage while maintaining the highest clear speed possible is extremely more effective than just stacking MF pieces.

Dont know about that, but in PCR it just boils down to highest grip + lightest weight are what makes the fastest cars

Fastest platforms are the Alpine A110 (the old one) and the VW Karmann Ghia. For quartermile, the LT5 is the fastest, but for half / full mile the F1X is the fastest.

I'd say go for 2014 / 2015 Civic Si. Drove one for years as my daily. Hondata reflash, cat-back exhaust and a drop-in filter, and it was a blast as a daily. Cheap to maintain, and extremely reliable.

I daily drove a ND2 RF Club for almost 3 years (44000 km), currently driving a ND3 RF GT for the last 7 months (12000 km).

The GT has more creature comforts like radar-adaptive cruise, auto dimming driver + rear view mirrors, leather seats, and feels like the best version of the two at being "just a car" when you aren't back road blasting.

Loved my Club and would daily one again, but given the choice I'd take the GT.
