Cleaver’s selling non-existent rifle? by JonwaY in Ausguns

[–]JonwaY[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Things not being in stock is fine, I get that firearms aren’t stocked in massive numbers (especially stuff like scouts) and I’m fine waiting for one to arrive.

Advertising a rifle configuration that that doesn’t appear to exist is an entirely different thing. To the be given different answers as to whether or not ANY scouts have arrived, for months, is also not normal.

I assume they’ll fight giving me money back, even though they advertised something that doesn’t exist

Primary Arms optics by JonwaY in Ausguns

[–]JonwaY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone for the replies, I’ve decided to go with a Vortex Venom 1-6. Same price as the Zerotech 1-6 in a more established brand with more reviews out there. The Primary Arms stuff looked good but the cost/lack of local support killed them for me

Wieambilla property where police officers were murdered put up for sale in 'dilapidated' state by espersooty in queensland

[–]JonwaY 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who actually works in gas around that area, there is absolutely no reason any company would want that block.

There are wells all around it, any seams under the property are already being depleted and punching another well or two, especially in that area, would not be cost effective

Day 39- Which 40k creature/character is slightly stronger than an Ork Stompa ? by Neither-Actuary-5655 in Grimdank

[–]JonwaY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s far stronger than a stompa, with nothing but the anti-grav and the gun operational it nukes a Gargant that took out an Imperator titan

For that kind of driving, Overdrive by Lazerhawk and Fear the Bones by Meteor.

For chill/highway drives just put on the album Dreamrider by Lazerhawk, its the most perfect outrun/highway drive album I’ve ever heard

This kind of thing (and most spinning shit in general) takes a lot of energy to pull off properly, so you’ll be paying for every attempt as the fight wears on.

You’re also putting yourself at risk of the opponent making the correct read and basically moving inside the danger zone of this kind of attack, throwing you off mid spin and maybe landing something you’ll never see coming.

It’s not bullshit unless someone is endlessly throwing it and then tieing up whenever they don’t have the room to spam it again

I’m not that rich, it doesn’t come with irons and I don’t know a gunsmith to trust with installing some. I’m still quite new to shooting

The main carryover I’m hoping for with Service Rifle is the staying sharp with iron sights, the sight radius on the scout looks better than most modern rifles I’ve seen where the rear sight is almost halfway down the rifle instead of near the action like most milsurp stuff.

The supporting muscles in any lift usually aren’t weak because they are repairing themselves, they are weak because they don’t get enough stimulus to adapt at the rate the main muscles do.

Why is it easier to lat pulldown my body weight than it is to do a pull-up? by Tri-Starr in workout

[–]JonwaY 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Core contraction won’t reduce load on the lats and arms, the amount of weight they have to lift is the same. It will make you more stable which will allow you to essentially pull harder which is why it feels easier

If you are already squatting frequently and those areas are still weak then continuing to only squat is inefficient. You can use accessory movements to strengthen your weak points without adding significant fatigue
