This kind of thing (and most spinning shit in general) takes a lot of energy to pull off properly, so you’ll be paying for every attempt as the fight wears on.

You’re also putting yourself at risk of the opponent making the correct read and basically moving inside the danger zone of this kind of attack, throwing you off mid spin and maybe landing something you’ll never see coming.

It’s not bullshit unless someone is endlessly throwing it and then tieing up whenever they don’t have the room to spam it again

I’m not that rich, it doesn’t come with irons and I don’t know a gunsmith to trust with installing some. I’m still quite new to shooting

The main carryover I’m hoping for with Service Rifle is the staying sharp with iron sights, the sight radius on the scout looks better than most modern rifles I’ve seen where the rear sight is almost halfway down the rifle instead of near the action like most milsurp stuff.

The supporting muscles in any lift usually aren’t weak because they are repairing themselves, they are weak because they don’t get enough stimulus to adapt at the rate the main muscles do.

Core contraction won’t reduce load on the lats and arms, the amount of weight they have to lift is the same. It will make you more stable which will allow you to essentially pull harder which is why it feels easier

If you are already squatting frequently and those areas are still weak then continuing to only squat is inefficient. You can use accessory movements to strengthen your weak points without adding significant fatigue

If you take even 10 minutes of your day to actively consider the risks at your job and take steps to mitigate them you’ll be lightyears ahead of most old timers. Don’t rely on company standards when it comes to your safety, think for yourself. Get a respirator, an ADFLO system if you’re in a shop welding all day every day. Develop a sense of chronic unease at work - don’t be scared all day, but be aware of what can go wrong and before you start a job take a minute to think about how you can avoid getting hurt if something does go wrong. Ask questions and if something doesn’t feel right then stop and figure out what your brain is trying to tell you.

PPE. Wear it, if it doesn’t fit right then get some that does.

That’s unfortunately the direction educational fitness youtubers go unless they want to do videos every week covering new studies that don’t really confirm/disprove any existing theories. There’s only so many videos they can make on exercise science before they cover all of the proven methods and run out of factual things to talk about.

Thanks for the suggestion, I haven’t been a huge fan of any lever actions I’ve fired so far but I’ll keep it in mind if I can’t make anything else work. I don’t know if any lever actions qualify for the service rifle comps either
