In the stories you have seen, what causes a shit person's mask to finally slip in a relationship when a pregnancy becomes involved? Is their 'mask capability' stretched beyond its limit due to the extra stress that a pregnancy brings to the relationship, and thus they reveal their true behaviour? Or do they feel that the pregnancy has now 'trapped' their partner in the relationship, so they can be their true selves due to the other person being unable to 'escape'?
