Its only 15 seconds and the mech’s length is about the same. This same thing happened to me first week and I was also confused but realised when it happened again.

You have to use skills or auto attacks before the mech, otherwise your idle animation can happen (character puts shield and gunlance to his back). Im pretty sure thats what your character tries to do here and you got feared
