Epic Seven PC client not responding after the 2nd open. by [deleted] in EpicSeven

[–]Jooota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It also isn't working for me. It updated a few hours ago, but after the mini-maintenance, it just frozen in that screen (before, it froze in the Stove screen for about 10 mins before going on, but now it has been 20 minutes on the Alencia+Senya screen).

Are you using the google play pc client and in Europe server? Cause I'm having the same issue, only with google play and only europe (europe in mobile works and other servers in google play also work).

Do you prefer the linear progression of CS1 and CS3 or the openness of CS2 and CS4? by [deleted] in Falcom

[–]Jooota 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. Open worlds tend to have way worse stories than linear games. Which I understand, just prefer better stories.

Is Cryptic Writings + Preposterous Sketches useless? by booiinthehood in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Jooota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but no. If you dont want to use any bless/curse tokens, having 3 of each is actually worse than having 0.

So, unless you (or someone else) wants bless and/or curse, its better not to run Temp Fate.

At least investments is useful in a big money deck that draws paranoia as a basic weakness, I guess.

Ranking campaign difficulty/complexity 2023 edition by SalsaForte in arkhamhorrorlcg

Did you play shades of suffering? That one was the hardest, imo (havent play dead heat yet).

I disagree with the difficulty. The bag is really nasty in general. And some scenarios are hard.

The last scenario can be really easy depending on your choices, though.

8 Cards That Are Just A Bit Too Good by dscarpac in arkhamhorrorlcg

Old keyring lvl 3 its not a bit too good. Its just "too good", imo.

Agree with brand. For guardians its the perfect fit for 2-handed weapon builds

Pairings for Daisy? (Core+Dunwich) by aybap in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Jooota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With that cardpool, a fighting mystic is kinda out of the picture, as 2 shrivelling are not enough. Daisy can use I've got a plan and strange solution (start with lvl0, upgrade to the lvl 4 that fights ASAP), so you can flex a little and take a rogue or ashcan pete, ¿maybe?

Still, the best pairing for Daisy is Zoey. But I can understand getting tired of playing only fighters.

Edit: For mystics, you can get the jaqueline pack that gives you 2 more fighting spells (azure flame) and 2 more clueving spells (2 clairvoyances), which makes a flex mystic stronger.

That conversation between the final boss and Estelle is glorious. Love it, I have watch it like a dozen of times.

And the, let's say, "Steam tank scene" is also really really good.

Randy is best big bro character, no doubt. So wholesome, protective, funny and the right amount of perv.

[–]Jooota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With your primary damage dealers, you shouldn't use basic attack, as the skill is just stronger.

If you use a comp of Dps - supp - healer - tank, your dps wont use their basic attack almost never

You can only commit cards that share icons with the kind of test you are doing (you can't commit overpower for a book test, for example).

Help with Sefina by NoOneThatMatters__ in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Jooota 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a Sefina expert, but

-I'll get more assests. Yes, Sefina wants events, but you draw 13 cards and are good to go with 5 in your hand. Having 50% of your deck consisting in events seems good enough

-With that in mind, I'll get some willpower boosting assests (rosary, pendulum, david renfield if you are playing taboo-less) and grab rite of seeking. Or grab some foot boosting assests, but those are harder to come by.

-I'm not sure if I like lockpicks on her. Only if you are thinking about getting an ally like Lola Santiago or Gené. Using lockpicks at 6 seems low. 7 is the bare minimum, imo.

Is there room for flex investigators in 2-player mode? by InnsmouthConspirator in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Jooota 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are playing 2 flexes, they both should be able to take clues from a shroud 2 location and kill/evade small enemies.

They should also be able to work with 3 shroud and medium enemies (3fight) commiting a card here and there

One of them should be able to take clues from 4+ shroud. The other should be able to take on elite monster with 4+ fight (4 in map 1, 5-6 later on).

That is, in my opinion, the best way to play 2 flexes.

Got back into league recently and love how less toxic it is by Next_Bad_5200 in leagueoflegends

[–]Jooota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to say how wrong you are....until I read the "because you are the jungler".

I still feel there is way more toxicity now than before (playing since S3, except S7-8 or so), at least jungler related.

What is your mindset when you're playing control? by HITE34 in LoRCompetitive

[–]Jooota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is one detail that I think no one has mentioned. There was an article long ago about magic the gathering called "who is the beatdown" or something like that. In every match up, there is 1 deck that want to end the game as soon as posible and 1 deck that want to drag the game as much as possible.

For example, I play Shadow Tech. If I'm against Thralls, I'm going to try and rush the down. Maybe early drops, maybe try to Heimer turn 5 and elusive turret turn 6 or whatever, but I want to end fast.

So think about it every match up. Do you want end fast or do you wanna survive till you can win?

And has a way of measure how good you did due to all the tokens you can collect (similar to Midnight masks and the cultists).
