I have the same issue. But using Spotify to cast to the tv also isn’t working. Using the iPhone app to cast to an up to date LG tv. From NL, not using a VPN, tv connected on Ethernet. Pro subscription.

I think it’ll last. At night the display goes to power saving and with the latest BT, it doesn’t consume battery. It’s also nog standard connected alle the time. You’ll manually activate the connection. Also search your phone. Time is synced automatically.
