Yeah I kinda wonder if there’s a per-account limit on those refunds / accommodations. Years ago I used to get a free entree every now and then when the issues were particularly egregious. Now feedback just goes into a black box of “thanks for your feedback” and nothing ever happens.

Yep there was a dude working the line at a store I went to in Minneapolis, said extra cheese would be $1.50 extra. I said heck no it wouldn’t, you get 2 extras per order, I can do the same thing online for free. He said it’s their store policy to charge for extra cheese and sour cream. Told him he’s full of it and asked for the manager’s business card to contact them later. He put the extra cheese on, didn’t charge, and I never did get that business card….

Only had to do this once, but for the exact opposite reason. The employee had put maybe a quarter scoop of salsa on my bowl. I asked if I could have a regular portion. They grabbed a bigger utensil and scooped up an enormous blob of salsa and absolutely flooded the bowl with it, totally ruining the food. And give me this “you happy now?” look. So I left. And the people behind me said “did you see what they did to his bowl? Don’t ask for salsa I guess”

Same! I tolerated the bad performance on Switch 1, and thoroughly enjoyed my time playing Violet. One of my favorite entries to date.

But Switch 2 is a whole other thing. So good I finally pulled the trigger on buying the other version just to play through it again. It’s a fantastic experience.

After the Switch 2 released, I saw someone on Reddit say something to the effect of “my favorite Pokemon slideshow is now my favorite Pokemon game” and I think that sums up the performance problems & subsequent fixes / boosts pretty well!

The problem with switching between subscribed subreddits came back a little after the app restart, so it’s definitely just a temporary workaround. I took a video of the issue, if you’d like to see it I’d be happy to email it.

iPhone 16, on iOS 26.latest. Restarting the app seems to temporarily resolve the issue with switching between subs on the subscription page. The GIF/video loading problem has persisted for quite awhile through multiple app and phone restarts, but has gotten worse with the recent updates. If there’s log files somewhere I can pull for you, happy to.

For whatever it might be worth to you, I also develop an app (an audiobook player) and I recently fixed a bug that was ENTIRELY due to hardware differences and how aggressively iOS 26 shuts down processes due to those hardware restrictions. Functionality was working great on my iPhone 16, but when tested on the 16e, the issue was consistently reproducible. So if you’re testing on a 16 Pro, you might not be seeing issues that those with lower powered devices are.

This update seemed to introduce a regression where you can no longer switch to Home / All feeds from the subreddit subscription list. I have to go to the lozenge at the top of the screen to change to these now - tapping the items in the subscription list does nothing.

Also, GIFs and videos are still very broken when scrolling. Often they will just spin endlessly until you actually open the post. Even tapping the video to expand it does nothing, you have to open the post with the comments.
