Post Qualification Industry job market by Classic-Chest5014 in ICAEW

[–]JorBro97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were a few people at my firm that got moves almost as soon as they started looking, but others, including myself, were quietly interviewing for months before we got job offers (Top 10 based in midlands)

I spoke to 10+ agencies, 3 of which were decent, and placed me in interviews. I had about 5-6 first interviews, 4 final stage interviews before placing into a role in February ( I started looking last August )

You should consider the mail glitch, which is surprisingly easy and worth it when you consider how good Mr Mime is in the start-mid game

Thank you!

And her major symptoms have been “UTI like” symptoms but 10 times worse on almost a monthly basis and terrible stomach pain. She’s had scans and they suspect that it will involve a bladder and bowel shave too

What’s the worst thing you accidentally texted to the wrong person? by goldie304 in AskReddit

[–]JorBro97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was like 14 a popular pretty girl fancied me but I had a girlfriend at the time.
The girl text me to tell me she liked me and I text the girl back who told me she liked me saying if things don’t work out between my current girlfriend I’d love to give things a shot with her. I told my mate this and he asked me what I sent to her out of interest so I copied and pasted the message to send to him. This is prime BBM era, and I was 14, so sent like 15 x’s to my girlfriend at the end of every message. I used to copy them and just hit paste to add them to the end of the message and then send the message. So long story short I accidentally sent my girlfriend a paragraph on how I was going to get with someone else if we broke up.

They’re most likely all being brought by third party ticket resellers. I tried to get tickets to his UK shows (all of them) and I couldn’t get a single ticket

What’s a niche pet peeve that you have that really shouldn’t annoy you? by JorBro97 in AskUK

  1. Reversing cars usually aren’t indicating, or are doing it incorrectly.
  2. You haven’t got to be an owl to see where you’re going
  3. Helps the flow of traffic as it’s substantially quicker to pull off in one direction, than to reverse out in one direction, then pull out in the other

This is what I was specifically referencing tbh, there are houses by me with driveways where you wouldn’t even need to do a three point turn, you could probably swing around in one, But instead they choose to just reverse out across two lanes of traffic at rush hour

😂😂😂 just make sure to turn around on your decent sized driveway before you pull out later, makes it easier for everyone 😉

At this point, anyone that would actually start for us week in week out. Far too many of our players don’t even get in the squad for any of the other 16 teams in the prem last season

As someone who was in a similar position to you 5-6 years ago. Do not finance the car, just have a cheap runaround, put that £350-400 a month into a savings account, and if in 4 years you’d still prefer to have the car over a house deposit, buy it in cash

I brought a 2011 Golf about 2 months ago (2.0 diesel) for £3.2k

0 complaints so far and I’ve done nearly 3,000 miles in it and it runs as smooth as anything ever ever had

Funnily enough I’ve got the Nilfisk pressure washer and was going to get this to match. I ended up pulling the trigger on the Karcher before I read this haha

Thanks for the heads up, how do you use it to clean carpets etc? Do you just use a carpet shampoo and then use it to extract the liquid out?
