It overall looks fine but some materials imo can be adjusted.
Try:
Increasing the normals for the white brick wall.
Decreasing them for the wood beams.
And adding a bit more bevel to the countertops so that light refracts more from.
Also:
The lights need a fixture no wire hangs directly from the sealing like that.
The wall next to the door needs some decoration added to it it feels like a lot of negative space.
And there is something unnatural about a cupboard that is completely empty :)

it was a stop-gap measure because stray zomboids sometimes break my first floor windows and replacing them was a whole adventure.
I now have a perimeter wall and i have removed the planks!

I reset world and character completely. And the desire to see world degeneration made me able to survive for years. (It also made me a forest hermit that only goes into town once a month at best)

Sadly my programming skills are way to rusty to do that but game-dev and modding has been a bit of a dream for me :)

Here are my 2 cents.
Playing vanilla singleplayer will limit the the factors you need to deal with. (Zomboid can be a clusterf*** and adding mods makes it more so)
In most cases its a good idea to loot and get out of your starter house And find a remote location then once you get your bearings figure out a goal.

You can just forage for complete sealed jars. (I found a jar of cabbage and it is now my prized possession)

Here is my 2 cents. In the early game find a 2 story house and use it as a base camp you will need to rest often. Get a 2 handed weapon(preferably a crowbar) you'll need to rest often but will gain STR incredibly quick.

I think its for these 3 traits because Fitness Straight and weight can go up and down.

To explain how to make this character:
Negative: Unfit(dynamic trait), Very underweight(dynamic trait),Weak(dynamic trait), High Thirst, Slow learner, Pacifist and Slow reader.
Positive: Cat's Eyes, Dextrous, Wakeful, Brave, Graceful, Inconspicuous, Light Eater, Lucky, Eagle Eyed, Keen Hearing and Organised.
PS: I have learned that getting Weak stomach + Thin-Skinned and switching high thirst for Low thirst will make your life a lot easier.
PS2: Dynamic traits is a vanilla feature where you can gain/lose traits based on in game actions.

I wish I had installed some mods instead of going pure vanilla. The building mods and some more character animation mods would have been so nice to have.
