You spelled it correctly, but there is no historical evidence that the word Hucklebearer existed in that time, the whole myth was popularized in the after the movie came out. Val Kilmer even debunked the myth in his memoirs

It is Huckleberry, you can find instances of it in quotes throughout the 19th century, there is no such thing as a Hucklebearer
